  1. Hey there!

Long-time reader, relatively new poster. Just wanted to get some thoughts from you all on your favorite cruise activities to do with friends.

I know many of you go on different types of cruise, whether it be a romantic cruise for you and your SO, a family cruise with the kids or maybe a "good-time" cruise with some friends. For myself, it's the latter in March on the Brilliance of the Seas.

Myself, my SO, and four friends will walk aboard for a 4-night vacation to Cozumel and back out of Tampa, Fl. I've enjoyed a few Radiance Class ships myself, but most of my compadres are a little newer to the idea of cruising.

Hoping to garner some ideas from you more seasoned veterans for our own enjoyment. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all.

  2. I'm traveling with a group of family members and friends on May 6, on the Jewel and we have my grandmother with us. Now, she's up there in age and she's in the kind of shape where she needs to sit down and rest after a grocery shopping trip to Wal Mart, but she moves around pretty well. With that said, I'm really interested in getting her one of those mobile scooters/wheelchairs. I just got off the Ruby Princess and saw a lot of people with them and it made me wonder if perhaps the cruise lines have them available on the ships? Does anyone know if RCI has them available for guests and if so is there a charge? I don't mind paying for it. She doesn't use one at home but moving around a cruise ship is a lot to handle for anyone!!

    Thanks for any advice.

    Zach
