  1. Thanks everyone for the suggestions!  We just ended up taking an Uber to Walmart where we found several options less than $20.  We made that decision when we realized that we had forgotten a few other things.  ☺️

  2. I can confirm what others have stated above--the CGM uses Bluetooth, which is completely separate from cellular data.  I've been on 2 cruises and one land-based vacation in the Caribbean, and I have used 3 different versions of CGM successfully while in airplane mode.

  3. As others have said, it really depends on how much you intend to drink be it alcoholic beverages or otherwise.  We pretty much always get a drink package of some sort primarily so that we don't have to worry about each individual beverage we order.  So, you need to look at how much you would use it and how much you're willing to spend for the convenience of having it already included.  It can be rather surprising how quickly it adds up depending on your drinking habits.

  4. I personally love taking the bus in St Martin/St Maarten.  However, you have to be on island time and not in a hurry.  On my most recent visit, I was staying in Philipsburg and took the "public bus" from Back Street to Maho.  It was easy and inexpensive.  You may get a few odd glances as they are usually used by locals and not tourists, but the driver and other passengers will be friendly and helpful.  Our driver even advised us as to where best to wait for a return bus when we were ready to head back.

Hi all! We’re sailing to Bermuda June 4 and staying over for 2 nights. We know we’re going to take the ferry over to Hamilton and then probably a minivan to Horseshoe Bay the first day. I’d like to visit the Crystal caves, swizzle inn and aquarium the second day. Is there a bus from Crystal caves to aquarium? Do you know bus # if there is one? I know bus 1,10, and 11 go to the caves from Hamilton. Thanks for any help.

Hello!  We had pretty much the same idea on our cruise last June.  On the first day, we boarded a minivan at the dockyard and headed to Horseshoe Bay.  It was easy to catch another minivan back once we were ready to leave.  The second day, we took the ferry to Hamilton and caught a bus to the caves.  After the caves, we ate lunch at Swizzle Inn and caught a passing bus to get to the aquarium.
