I am sorry we did not eat at any of the specialty restaurants. I was well taken care of in the Windjammer, Main Dining room and Park Café. They had Udi's buns for the roast beef sandwiches in the Park Café, yummy.

Hi, I'm going on the Serenade for 11 days in December. We have cruised many times but this is our first time on Royal. I have heard Royal is fantastic with special diets. I have Celiac and need to eat Gluten Free.

 

Can anyone tell me of any experiences with GF on Serenade and if you ate in any of the specialty restaurants.

My husband and I will also be sailing on Serenade Dec 10 and I also have Celiac. Have had great experience with Royal and eating Gluten Free. Sailed Serenade a couple of years ago and never went hungry. I always bring some protein bars and some pre packaged snacks as I love my sweets.

I have been trying to get the Panoramic Oceans views since it was leaked and no go for 2 different times next summer. No one seems to know when the new rooms will be for sale. The price they have going right now is the best I have seen in 6 months. Almost $1000 less for 3 people then it was last week for a balcony. I know on Navigator those Pan Ocean rooms were a couple hundred less then the E3 and had more space and maybe the best view I have ever had on a cruise Worth giving up the balcony to wake up and see exactly what the Captain sees from floor to ceiling.

I was just on Royals website and saw the Panoramic Ocean view rooms available for booking. You may want to check the dates you were looking at.

They are available for some sailings at the least - I booked a deck 12 panoramic ocean view for January 2017 last week

We booked deck 12 panoramic ocean view also, but for December 2016. Will be our first b2b.

I just received my email and it doesn't say I purchased US$400 anywhere, just the cost of Cdn $440. Did your email specify the amount purchased??

Just called Gifts and Gear and got $300 us for $330 cdn. Received email confirmation also. I printed it out and will take a copy with me on our cruise.

Total of 5 minutes on the phone and the person that helped me was really nice.

First aft so excited.

Just checked and room 9256 opened up so I called and we switched.

We were fine with 8168, but 9256 was available this morning just sitting there so I jumped on it.

This will be first time to Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao so we would be happy with any room, but could not resist switching. It was calling my name :).
