Just returned from a Greenland cruise on the Jewel. We visited 3 ports. Nuuk we docked at port. The other 2 we tendered. I do believe those ports can be missed if it’s too foggy. Grandeur is smaller than Jewel. Was a great cruise!

We are on the Nov 3 sailing out of Baltimore. We stopped at Charleston and then yesterday at Port Canaveral. We left there around 7:00 heading to Nassau. Sometime during dinner there was an announcement we would miss Nassau and Coco Cay and head back to Baltimore. So we will not be stopping at a foreign port. I imagine this has all been worked out with the Government officials!😀

So are you “slowly “ sailing back to Baltimore since you’re not due back till Friday?

We are supposed to be cruising on the 11th when you return.

His name is Mike.  He's from Jamaica.  He was part of the activities staff when we sailed another time.

We just got off the Grandeur today. Cory does a great job!!

There's several posts in this thread with description of how to get there, walking or taxi, costs, etc.

 

As noted, it's just a few minutes from port by cab, $10 one way, or 20-30 minute wall. Right across the the airport..

We walked to the beach. It’s an okay walk but not the greatest. You have to walk all the way around the airport runway And it was hot! Shared a cab back with some others that were there. Much better. $5 pp

Have you been on the roll call page for this cruise?

We have been on this ship before and never had any problem with My Time Dining. We never made a reservation and always got seated with no problems.

Is the walk into town on a pavement/path or do you walk along the road or on the beach?

If you are sailing on the Grandeur and haven't yet joined the roll call please come join in with the group. Would love to have a Meet & Mingle but we need a few more people!!
