Could someone tell us what the email looks likes so we can watch for it? (I apologize if this has been covered already. We just got home from a 10 day trip and I am way behind on my post reading!)

When a price drop happened I called my TA and asked him if I'm able to take advantage of that drop. He said yes.

I have got a free upgrade from Central Park window Cabin to Stateroom with Balcony Guarantee.

Actually, first, we booked an Inside Guarantee Cabin for 657$ p/p with Onboard credit $75 and bottle of wine.

Later I paid 114$ (57p/p) for the upgrade to Central Park Window Cabin.

If I have waited a little longer possible I could get a free upgrade from an inside cabin to ocean balcony cabin. but anyway I'm really happy)

You bet. I've also heard they are only doing 2-category upsells. Meaning if you are in an Inside, you can upsell to Ocean View or Balcony staterooms. .

Do you have to book directly with Norwegian to get the bid/ upsell email? Has anyone booked through a travel agent or orbitz, Priceline, etc. and got the email for bid or upsell. We don't want to have false hope since we booked with a third party. Our rooms are all paid for and have been assigned just wondering if these perks are exclusively to customers who book directly with Norwegian. Thanks in advance...

I'm on the Escape 12/03/16 cruise.

Originally booked IX (inside Guaranty cabin) rates were 399p/p no perks.

09/22 got the email to bid on upgrades and put minimum bit 50p/p for a balcony.

Today the inside cabin were assigned on 12th deck mid-ship.

I guess they still can accept my bit in any moment before 48h

but anyway I'm going to be happy even with my original cabin.

Can anyone answer if you got one even if you were using a TA?
