Just booked this cruise while on Summit. Been to Seattle a few times and LOVE the city. It is early for a thread but time will fly!!! Lets get this going!

I was on the repositioning cruise in April...San Juan to Bayonne. I did not see a change in the buffet from my 6 previous summit cruises. This must have happened after that trip, when they began the Bermuda run. I am returning in July. Hope they take care of the glitches.

In 2003, when the ship was still called Nordic Empress, we had the D1 cabin that is now being referred to as the Junior Suite. When they changed the ship's name, they changed the balcony cat. to JS. I have since been in JS on other ships and if you are expecting a regular JS cabin on Empress, you are out of luck.

About how far is the trip? Is this the beach at the Sheratin?

I just spoke with RCCL they said that the excursions offered are limited for this cruise.

HELP!!!!!

Last year I was on VOS out of Cape Liberty. We had such a great time that we booked again for July, 2005 with 5 friends. The only thing about the cruise that I found disappointing was Freeport. I hated it. Well, I decided that this time I would spend the Freeport day on a beach excursion. Last time we went shopping and to lunch. I should have stayed onboard. I went to the RCCL excursion page and the only two excursions that they offer are dolphin swim or encounter. All the others are offered at the port but not for our cruise. It makes no sense. Can anyone help me with beach excursion info? I usually book all excursions through RCCL because of the convienence. I guess this will change this time around.
