Just curious how did you confirm it and with whom?

If you must know I spoke with a reliable source that works in Miami. I’m not at liberty to release any names. They are all about pleasing the Millennials. Have no intention of retention of chronic complainers that have no good input ever. The old timers often bring no revenue. This is a business. Why would they keep things on the menu like that. The new cruiser is often Vegan or Gluten free. They also know how to tip. If they want something off menu. They can get it. Most of you with 10-20k posts and so many cruises. You have red-flag notes that pop up with every swipe of the card. Good Luck- They can say no to you.

  2. This makes sense. Confirmed it this morning. They are getting rid of both. It’s like Downy! Millennials don’t like this stuff. No cheap tenderloin cuts or brûlée for them. Menus should change after 25 years! Get real people.

Just an FYI, only dogs and in some cases miniature horses are Service animals. , no other animals according to the US Justice Department.

    https://www.ada.gov/service_animals_2010.htm

Big difference from someone bring an animal on board for a week and an employee bringing one on for the length of her contract.  That is just a really weak argument.

Whatever- Look up the definition of "ADA" & "US". What do these have to do with ships registered in Malta & Nassau???  No need for an argument when you attach a link from 2010. LMAO!
Have you been on EDGE? If in a walker or chair- many areas/ decks are not even accessible and clearly don't need to be in RCI's opinion. People are lucky to get handicapped rooms. #facts

  4. Denial is the first sign. Love how defensive people get about the brand Passion is one thing but is another to just say- oh I really have lost my sense of smell- Some of you have aged. As if it can’t be happening. Bring diffusers, plug-ins & febreeze!  Just wait until day 3-4 folks 💩💩💩 Take a walk. Even outside by the drains or by the club, martini bar or any sink!

Hopefully your floor just gets water back up. 3 people we knew had to switch cabins because of raw sewage back up. They sail with several empty cabins every sailing to move people. Mostly it’s been water. Good luck on the TA! I would switch to another ASAP...  Don’t go on deck 3 starboard or deck 6 forward. I knew there were major problem areas day 5 on multiple sailings Entire sections had to be moved.

Good Luck- you need it on the Edge

We will all see more than dogs soon. I’m going to have a friend bring her duck & mini horse, it’s allowed. You can all snap pictures & make comments all you want. She doesn’t leave home without at least the duck. I’ve ordered the pool for the room. Being delivered right to the ship 🌞

Captain K has her cat & refused to do Europe without it. They are trying to change laws. But she’s got an iron clad contract  for big things anyway for the future.

I just put minimum bids on Sky and Celebrity Suites for our December 21 Silhouette cruise. The big benefit will be the extra Captain’s Club points putting us into Elite Plus at the end of this cruise. Big deal!

Apparently you didn’t read the fine print. You only will receive club points for the original cabin you booked. Good luck & happy sailing 🚢

  7. These matches are great but you will receive no points for casino benefits towards the blue chip players club. Not worth it if you’re trying to achieve amethyst,  Sapphire or Ruby status. Good luck & happy sailing 🚢

I do not understand why people are so negative. When no cruise passenger have actual sail The Edge.

I think some on CC are clearly negative people. Others are delusional 😂... Some of us realize this beautiful ship is not complete yet & we will see some professional photos after the stop in the Bahamas 🇧🇸

Enjoy the Sea + each & every day 😉

It honestly doesn’t look that much different from S-class and there really isn’t much that’s “cutting edge” that I’ve seen.

This is some typical cruise critic. S-class! 🤣  Are you serious? Apparently you’re not seeing the photos others have viewed.

🚢👍🏻🌴 you should probably try &keep your comments on the positive side unless you have something nice to say. If that is possible.

    🤷‍♂️Good luck & happy sailing

If this dog is indeed not a legitimate service dog, it is as distressing to me as people who illegitimately park in handicapped spaces

That clears things up. You have no clue if it’s legitimate or not. A service dog does not need a vest. You also are not required to provide paperwork. It’s against the law to even ask for it, unless it’s the policy of the airline or cruise line. It is not Celebrity’s policy. The cruise line will clearly listen to your complaints. But they won’t refuse these service animals. A stroller is a nice thing for the individual to bring in my opinion. It keeps the animal off the ground & actually keeps the dog cleaner. This person you are all making assumptions about is probably much cleaner than all the people I’ve seen come back from excursions and go directly to the buffet without washing their hands and refusing hand sanitizer. Snap more photos. It’s just showing your true colors. btw - some people have invisible disabilities and need handicapped spots. Do you take photos of them too? As others have stated it is a service dog not an emotional assistant dog. Why is there a confusion about this? This entire thread is golden. 😂😂😂

  11. The round trip Hawaiian 🌺 cruises are fabulous. We would take them b2b2b out of San Diego or San Francisco if offered.  Also miss going from Florida to Hawaii. We have done that multiple times on Millennium but she no longer does that route. That was a nice month long cruise. 🚢🍾🌴 I really think they should homeport a ship in San Diego. The crew loves it & many hotels opened just across the street from the pier.

This is going to be fun to watch day or night👍

    It does look fun.
I'm unclear where people are supposed to lay out in the sun? I don't see much room for the amount of passengers. The chair hogs will be out with chair clips at 5:30 am to get the 100 chairs around the pool. I've noticed about 50-75 more chairs on the deck above by the funnel in some of the renderings, but on a sea day it's not going to be a good scene. Even the suite area doesn't appear to have many chaise lounges around that foot bath in the renderings. Plus this pool deck really won't be very sunny other than for about 2-3 hours a day the way it's sunken in. Maybe we can just bring a bunch of towels to the rooftop garden? I'm not sure what the options will be?

A true service dog is one thing.  This thread is not about service dogs.  It is about supposed emotional support animals and their legitimacy as well as abuse of same.  And even beyond that, it is not funny at all to have a bad allergy - I am appalled that you find someones suffering so enjoyable.  It is not so simple as taking a pill!  Some people have serious allergies to pet dander.  Some people with those allergies also have asthma which can be life threatening.  Pills are not without consequence and side affects as well.  A true service animal is rightly allowed in virtually any venue.  That said, if I were traveling with a service animal and I saw someone seriously adversely reacting to it, I think I would use a little common courtesy and make some effort to keep my animal away from that person.  Not saying avoiding the venue all the time, but how about going 50/50 - spend some time there but also allow some time for people to spend there (who PAID for the privilege as well) without dogs present.  Someone in that situation is expecting others to accommodate them; how about they return the favor and do a little extra to accommodate others?  If we all used a little human sympathy we could find a solution that would work for all.

    "

    • Allergies and fear of dogs are not valid reasons for denying access or refusing service to people using service animals. When a person who is allergic to dog dander and a person who uses a service animal must spend time in the same room or facility, for example, in a school classroom or at a homeless shelter, they both should be accommodated by assigning them, if possible, to different locations within the room or different rooms in the facility."  laws are laws.
  14. I see nothing wrong with this whatsoever. The dog is biting no-one. Get over it! I was on a ship and a zenith member complained to every staff member about his runny nose when the service dog came into Michael's club. I thought it was funny- take a pill. Celebrity will do nothing about it. They pamper these dogs with plush fresh grass plots to go to the bathroom on. I think it's wonderful & I've seen many. Deal with it folks! Leave the area if it's bothering you...

  15. Your answer here affirms my reading and understanding of your original post. I just was doubting that anyone would post that as a serious post. Obviously I was correct in understanding your meaning. I'm shaking my head in disbelief.

That is why Celebrity is so great! They think of these things that people like you are completely unaware of. Be in disbelief. It’s clear from others post people wear the same clothes daily. Shake yo head all you want... That’s not going to change reality.

  16. My opinion is unwashed hair or desease control has nothing to do with it, but common areas are cooled at a level to handle a full room of warm bodies and all our exhaling. And when fewer are in it, it’s cooler.

And of course when we step inside from a hot day the inside will feel cooler than it really is, and the opposite when coming in from the cold.

My experience is the ships seem to be pretty standard, but each of us will react differently to the same environment. And I always have the extra cover

    Den

Opinions are great but when someone get’s the same answer from an officer with 4 stripes & a Captain’s wife, just maybe it’s factual... Enjoy your Cruise :'):D

  17. Future cruises on the ship will be of no assistance with choice air. Unless something has changed Choice air does not give the option to book basic economy with no seat assignment. . It should specify "economy" "business" or "first" If for some reason you see "basic economy" then you will not be able to select your seat.

  18. If you look at the average age of the passengers there is a reason why they keep the common areas cool. Some passengers wash their hair once a week, if that! It's to keep the smell down and to reduce sickness. The S-class ships are kept even colder because they can regulate it more. I always prepare myself with multiple layers.

  19. I’ve seen people give cabin numbers then try to turn right around and leave. When they get caught they are nasty & abusive to staff. It’s very sad. One time a group of Germans made fun and bullied a spa attendant to her face while demonstrating the life jacket right in front of everyone. It was the two husbands and the wives just laughed away as they called her fat and chuckled for 5 minutes. The staff is afraid to tell people to be quiet. It’s sad when you’re in such a serious presentation but nobody has the authority to say please be quiet. It makes no sense to me whatsoever. ️ Clearly an officer should be present at each muster station if nobody can say BE QUIET! THIS COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE...

  20. Ditto. Received the offer directly from Celebrity via email 34 days out from cruise. Our booking is held with a TA.

We are in a Sky Suite and were offered to bid on Celebrity, Royal, or Penthouse - although those are currently sold out (via web site). Tempted! but since it is only a 7N cruise and we are happy with our cabin allocation. We’re staying put and did not pursue the offer.

We cruised in June I think last but the ship sailed full so we did not receive the offer. I’m not sure if we’ve been on since. Enjoy our summers on land. We’ll be on ships November December & January. 7 cruises. Received two move up offers for the beginning of November so far. Not really worth it to us. We’ll see what the others come up with. Good luck 😉🚢
