Given that Star Class includes specialty dining, I'm curious as to how they're going to handle that. When I go online now (for our 5/29/16 Allure sailing) to make reservations, the only way to do that is by paying upfront.
Perhaps that's something that I'll need to wait for the Concierge/Genie to contact me about - but by then, perhaps the dates/times won't be as open.
I suppose I could pay now, and just get an OBC or refund...
What about entertainment reservations - since there's a set aside area for suite guests, is that essentially an open reservation, or do I still need to make the reservation?
THANKS,
Tom
We're booked in a Sky Loft on the Anthem this coming October. Was told by RCCL when we booked not to be concerned with reserving 'anything' in advance, that it would all be taken care of by your Royal Genie personal assistant. Sounds too good to be true, but hope to be pleasantly surprised in 7 months...

Wow, I'll have to give that a shot as well. Did you call the C&A number, or the regular customer service number?
I'd made my own reservation directly off of their website, so just called the number from my itinerary, (800) 327-6700.

Just got off the phone with RCCL, and they were able to apply the OBC to my existing reservation. We're booked in an SL Suite on the Anthem next October.
The first person I spoke with told me the cost of the fare had increased and it would be more expensive to apply the new promotion (the fare I was seeing online was actually still the same, and all those cabins were already booked). I asked to speak with a supervisor and pleaded my case, and they said they would compromise and apply the on board credit to my current reservation.
Just received the confirmation email showing the $300 OBC.
We'll be part of the new Royal Suite Class program next Fall, so the VOOM internet was already included.
Squeaky wheel sometimes gets the oil...

I think it's all relative and what you're willing to pay for in return for what you're getting. We're sailing on the Anthem next year out of NJ (12 night Western Caribbean), and we booked a Sky Loft to take advantage of, and experience, their new Royal Suite Class program.
Having sailed in a Haven suite on NCL, I can definitely say that it was worth the extra cost.
You do have to compare apples to apples though, and look for the good rates...

We're on B2B cruises on the Getaway next month, 6 & 13 Sept, also in the Haven. Thanks so much for posting the link to those docs!

We took advantage of the offer as well. We're on B2B sailings this Sept, and have UDP & UBP on both cruises. At the time (back in March or April I believe) they were offering the Haven Penthouse (H5) for $1499, so it was too good of a deal to pass up. Counting down...

Great review. We're in 15114 on B2B cruises this Sep and can't wait. Thanks for posting...
Royal Suite Class program - Roll Out Date?

Starting a new job next month, so will unfortunately have to cancel our Oct 29th upcoming cruise on the Anthem. Was looking forward to not only the ship, but the new Royal Suite Class program. We're booked in a Sky Loft Suite, #10722, and I plan on canceling this afternoon online. If anyone is interested in snagging this room after I cancel it, I plan on pulling the plug at 6:00pm EST tomorrow night.
Can't believe our countdown and waiting game is now over, but already discussing options and plans for our next cruise adventure.
Enjoy the ship and the cruise, I certainly know we would have!!!
