  1. We have FTTF and are in a suite. What is the earliest we can checkin and board Miracle in Tampa? My arrival appointment is 11:30 but I know that does not matter.

We got off of the Miracle yesterday and because there were only two Customs agents, it was very slow. We had our bags and did self disembarkation and stood in line to get off the ship for two hours. We were in line at 8:15 and in a cab at 10:30. I can only imagine how long it took the rest of the passengers to get through that line.

On embarkation day we watched the last passengers leave a few minutes after 12 and then they immediately started boarding the new passengers.

  2. Thank you for your responses! We have never driven to NYC and are trying to plan ahead to have a Plan B in place.

Is there a time you recommend arriving?

Should we expect a line and have to drive around the block?

Is it best to wait until the last cruise empties out?

Are there signs to other parking lots and are there ones we should avoid?

  3. I get motion sick very easily (even short car rides) and the best remedy I have tried is the over the counter medication Bonine. One pill lasts 24 hours and best of all no drowsiness! I take one every morning of a cruise. If you haven't tried it yet, it might be worth a try.

  4. We are new to Celebrity and would like to reserve a seating time for Select dining, but knowing when the evening show times are would be very helpful in deciding.

We are on a port intensive 7 night Southern Caribbean stopping at St. Croix, St. Kitts, Grenada, Dominica & St. Thomas. I know there are two "formal nights" but can't seem to find which nights they fall on.

If there is a night you want to skip the dining room, do you need to call to cancel the reservation?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

  5. Sure, I don't have bathroom pics but here are a couple of the storage space. You can see I use a hanging shoe holder for easy access to small items. The shelves where the safe is are pretty deep as well. (That picture attached sideways, sorry.)

There were just 2 of us in the cabin. The mini suites with the sofa and larger bathroom offer more elbow room, not sure if they have more storage space though.

  6. I get motion sickness very easily - it can happen within 15 minutes of just riding in the car. Once I found Bonine, it made it possible for me to cruise without any nausea at all!

I used to use Dramamine, but after 8 hours I couldn't keep my eyes open. I'm not sure if the non-drowsy version of Dramamine has the same ingredients as Bonine, but I don't want to mess with something that works for me. I take a 24-hour Bonine each morning of a cruise.
