Looked at check-in on my app (sailing May 15th from Southampton ) and it’s no longer got a section to fill in about my children's vaccination status. They are 5 and 6.Â

That's a bizarre way of doing it - why require an antigen test taken in the 48 hours beforehand if you're then going to do another one at check in?
Is it to reduce the numbers getting an unexpected positive as they are due to board. I saw someone on another board mention that a P&O ferry was late to depart as they had to remove the baggage belonging to people that tested positive at check in…. Just a theory though.Â

The rules aren’t clear or can be interpreted a few ways.Â
ÂAm I right in thinking kids sub 11 but over 2 will get a test at the terminal and don’t need a test in advance or do they get classed as unvaccinated and need a test in advance and and get another test at the terminal by RCL?
Â
I get what we need a test up to 2x days before but for the kids it isn’t clear, they have 1 jab but can’t get the second until we get back unfortunately.Â
Celebrity have said that a person under 18 with a certificate of recovery from within the past 180 days that have one vaccine are classes as fully vaccinated - but this varies depending on port. It’s in their European protocols. As RC’s sister company, RC may issue the same guidance.Â
***Exception:Â If a guest from UK/EU under 18 years of age has Certificate of Recovery and only one dose of a vaccine series they are considered fully vaccinated.Â

You do not need any tests to enter the uk. Check the uk gov website for the latest travel requirements. Rcl may require some sort of pre boarding test
I would rather test before we fly to the UK. If any of us are positive we wouldn’t bother travelling to Southampton. It would save us being stuck there with no cruise to get on.Â

Fingers crossed it stays at 2 days before. Sailing from Southampton on Anthem on May 15th. Flying from Dublin early on the 14th. Hopefully a test on the 13th would cover us. Don’t want to land in the UK then find we can’t board if someone tests positive.Â

Didn’t they vote for no more Cruise Ships being allowed to enter their main port in July of this year.Â
