Hi cruisers,
We have a few extra cruise pins (3 Star, 1 Sun & 1 Jewel) that I refuse to sell on E bay for $50.00. I was wondering if anyone had a Sky pin to trade or sell for a reasonable price. We have a cruise scheduled on the Sky in early December & thought I would to see if anyone had an extra pin available.
I forgot to mention these are Norwegian ship pins that I have and collecting.

Hello, we have never been on the Joy, we are scheduled to take her to Alaska in Aug 2020. We have been on 11 other NCL ships and have had a great time on everyone of them. We are not picky people but we do like good food & service. We have eaten in the buffet, Cagney's, La Cucina's, and a number of other restaurants and have never had bad meal. Every one of the shows have been exceptional. On a NCL ship a few years ago a magician made a helicopter disappear from the stage, we were on the six deck of the ship and we could not figure it out - it was pretty awesome.
We have done the Panama Canal trip twice, both trips were the best of the best. I would go again in a hearty beat. Both of the ships were around 2800 people, the Sun & the Jewel. We had inside cabins both times, if we go again it will be in a balcony. When we were on the Jewel friends had an aft balcony & that spoiled us. You could sit on your aft balcony & see everything at the back real close. They had the TV on that showed you the bow & you could see what was coming up shortly. Before you entered the canal a well spoken narrator is brought on board and talked the entire trip. It's an all day process to get through the canal, very slow moving but very interesting, both trips were thru the old canal. On the Jewel we saw larger ships (huge ships) going thru the new canal. The Joy will need to go thru the new canal. In the old canal we had 2 feet on each side for the ship to get thru, you could almost touch the wall. Bring binoculars you will hopefully see birds and animals. Check out your library as ours had books to check out about the canal that was interesting to look through as I had no idea what to except.

Does the Epic do an hour long pool party on a sea day with Jimmy Buffett music videos playing on the big screen?
The Escape featured that when we sailed, but I was wondering if that was because there was a Margaritaville At Sea onboard. I'm a bit of an "over the top parrothead" and I'd be certain not to miss the event if it's on the Epic for our trip in November.

Hi we were on the EPIC this past Feb back to back I didn't see any hr long pool party on a sea day with JB music video playing. that would have been a nice treat as we are big Buffet fans.

Kahlua sour with a lime is a favorite but I also like the BBC, Mango meltdown & a Miami Vice. A true Pain Killer (found on White's Bay in St John's USVI) is the best but I haven't found one made to my taste on a NCL ship. I'll keep looking.

We have cruised with NCL and Carnival at numerous ports and our recent trip on the Epic out of Cape Canaveral was the fastest, easiest and quickest on both embarkation & debarkation, they were both under an hour. Couldn't be happier.
Looking forward to our next trip on the Getaway out of Miami in November. Lets see if they can top the Epic.

Anyone have an NCL Pearl pin or other Pearl memorabilia they'd be willing to part with? My husband and I took our first cruise on the pearl on our honeymoon and I'd love to give him something from the Pearl for our upcoming 5th anniversary!

Does Bonaire Cruisers take a credit card or do you need to have the cash for your rental?
We used cash to pay for the rental but then they wanted a credit card to run thru as a deposit.
Good luck it was so much fun. I would do it again in a heart beet.

We have a group of seven couples renting golf carts and I know they give you an island map but was wondering what others have done when you rented a cart. We want to see the island and have a good snorkeling walk in beach. Any info appreciated.
We thought we would see the site, snorkel, have something to eat. But what we did was travel south, site see, take pictures it all took time. The golf cart went about 20-25 miles an hr. the beaches were very rocky with white corral the size of my finger, not sandy. When we got back to the city we couldn't find a parking spot so we could stop, shop & eat. We took the cart back just after 2 & they gave us a lift back to town . It was a fun day, hot, bring sun screen.
When we were traveling along the road we saw lots of snorkeling spots they were marked at the side of the road with a painted rock or a piece of drift wood with a name wrote on the wood,

We rented the golf cart a few years ago. It was by far the best excursion we ever did. make sure you have sun screen, hats, water and if you leave the golf cart for any reason do not leave anything that you don't want to loose. Nothing happened to us but I have heard of people that had backpacks on the golf cart & were off taking pictures & someone came up and stole their items.
Be safe with eyes open.
