Best for me: sweet and sour chicken, grilled chicken breast over fettuccine with mushroom sauce, steak and eggs in MDR brunch, and warm melted chocolate cake
Worst would be: baked stuffed mushrooms, crab cake, grand mariner souffle'
and I agree that alot of the Lido deserts look delicious but are pretty tasteless.

Laundry on Empress Deck 7 - midship / across from 7339 and 7341.
And when we were on The Victory (Deck 7) Oct/Nov last year they were Sign and Sail activated not coin.

Did a 5 day cruise on The Victory last Oct/Nov and it was not a booze cruise. We had a great time and the staff were wonderful. Room Steward, servers in dining room, and bartenders were excellent and very friendly, even when only going to the bar for a soda. We were on deck 7 aft and we did not smell a single sewage smell.

Thanks for the info. Was wondering whether to bring an old gift card with us to use for the safe.
That's what we did too!

They are the ones you use a card with.

We had a group of 16 on The Glory and we were in 2 long tables not exactly beside each other but one in front and one behind. (Like one row of people with backs to the next row of people). The waiter didn't mind that we switched it up a few nights so that we could all have a chance to eat together.

We were on the Victory in Nov. 15 and we did not have one. I am not sure if any of the rooms have them, we had a balcony room.

Has anyone seen a phone fall of a selfie stick? They look kind of flimsy, would hate to have my phone fall off and go overboard. [emoji55]
Yes we did on our Nov Victory cruise. Teen girl held it out over the side of the ship and it fell off.

We went to Jack's Shack in Nov. this year and it was no charge for the loungers but $10 to rent an umbrella. There was another bar open in between the cruise port and Jacks...we stopped there long enough for son and hubby to buy a beer.

We did the Punta Ricia beach excursion last week Nov 2. It is quite a bus ride somewhere between 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 hours but you do get to see alot of the country...most of what we saw was poor. The beach itself was beautiful and the coco loco drink delicious. A lunch was included although we didnt like the burgers. Soda and water included also. There is a water trampoline and platform there too. We really enjoyed our day but did not leave much time for shopping at the port.

Yes there are I can't remember exactly what floors. I looked on the Funville site and found this info:
Glory
Name: Launderettes
Location: Riviera Deck 1 - midship / across from 1357 and 1359
Main Deck 2 - midship / across from 2365 and 2367
Upper Deck 6 - midship / across from 6385 and 6387
Empress Deck 7 - midship / across from 7337 and 7339
Verandah Deck 8 - midship / across from 8349 and 8351
Lido Deck 9 - midship / across from 9268 and 9270
When we were on it June 2013 the laundry took coins. I'm not sure if that has changed or not. Maybe somebody that has sailed more recently can answer that question for you.

I know how that goes...you are welcome. Enjoy your cruise and good luck with the home purchase!

I can't help you out about the printing prices but can you just download the Word file or PDF to your laptop and read it from there or do you have to have actual printed copies?

Prayers for your father in law and family.

We have had 3 group cruises and they have always did them on the stairway. One pic has 15, one 19, and one there are something like 40 people in it.

I used a prepaid Visa on both of my recent cruises. I did link it to my sign and said during online check in but had to take the actual card down to guest services (well guest services on one cruise and the sign and sail kiosk on the other) and have the re do it because it was showing up as a balance due on our statements when checking our charges on the tv. But it was very easy all they did was swipe it at guest services and I swiped it at the kiosk, and after that everything was taken care of. I only had to do it that one time each cruise.

We went to the one in Cozumel it is out of the port in a mall. They had t-shirts and stuff but were a little expensive for us so we just browsed but they did have some really nice stuff.

We were on the Legend the last week of Jan this year and the weather was beautiful. Departing Tampa was a bit chilly but still comfortable. It rained while we were in Roatan but it was still warm and we had fun. Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Grand Cayman the weather was gorgeous and the water was very comfortable.
Grand Turk
in Carnival Cruise Lines

When we were in Grand Turk in Nov. last year we didn't have to pay to use the chairs but we did for the umbrella (only if you want one)and it was only $10. In my opinion it was worth it. But we did see more fish up near the pier at the free beach.
