Hello fellow cruisers

We are taking our first Alaskan Cruise. Since going to Alaska is so totally Different than a warm climate cruise I have some questions that I hope y'all can help with.

What didn't bring that you wish you had?

What did you bring that was not used

I'm assuming there will be 2 "formal nights" I'm guessing it will be the 2 Sea days

Do you know when the Whales are running?

We just a booked a cruise on the Splendor from Long Beach to Hawaii and back to Long Beach for 10/2018. My

Question is, what it would be the best side of the ship to be on as you entered the ports? Our PVP thought the Starboard side would be best, but she was not certain.

Also how are the seas in Oct for the crossing?

Our cruise on CCL Conquest departs Miami on Sunday, September 14th. I depart Colorado Springs tomorrow at 10:30.

 

Snow is predicted for today but the weatherman promises it will blow on through and be gone by tomorrow. UGH! Just one more thing to be concerned about.

No snow in Arvada, Co, just west and south of us. 77 degrees tomorrow and 84 on Sunday. I hate Colorado weather.

Hi all, we will be sailing on the Liberty in Oct. We would like to stay in Port Canaveral on Friday night and take a Hotel shuttle to the port in the morning.

What would be the best transportation option from Orlando to the Port?
