Your Sail & Sign Card (onboard account) can be used to purchase chips at the tables, cashier's window or for the slot machines. There is no charge at the slot machines to access funds but for any transactions done at a table game or the cashier’s window, there is a small service fee of 3% each transaction. You can charge up to $2000 USD per day on your Sail & Sign card to play in the casino. Please consult the casino staff onboard for further details.

  2. Here is one that is more an annoyance and really couldn't be implemented....if you are relatively physically healthy, you can't take an elevator going down for 3 decks or under....going up, it has to be more than 2 decks....STOP BEING LAZY AND USE THE STAIRS FOR SHORT TRIPS!!!!

Well you can't really tell if people are healthy or nor just by looking at them. I have a back injury with severe spinal stenosis. There are times when my left leg goes completely numb and I fall over. It is often sudden and unexpected. I can climb up stairs (because you really can't do much damage that way ), but going down stairs I have to take an elevator just to be safe. My neurosurgeon also told me not to hold hot objects or breakable objects in my left hand.

  3. Has anyone stayed in this cabin before? any pictures, pros and cons please?

i just read somewhere that forward cabins are not recommended for first time cruisers due to motion sickness. any suggestions will be very much appreciated

I don't know about that specific room, but aft is where we have found a lot of motion, so now we usually book middle or forward.

  4. We are flying into Orlando and driving to Fort Lauderdale for our upcoming cruises. We booked Days Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport North Cruise Port, Fort Lauderdale on the advice of a friend, but after looking at reviews on a certain travel site, we are now a little worried. If anyone has had experience with this hotel, we'd appreciate the feedback...and if it's as bad as the reviews, does anyone have another suggestion for a reasonably priced hotel in the area ($100 range).

    Thanks,

  5. Actually it is Saint John NB. The Saint is not abbreviated. I know it seems rather silly to everyone, but we Saint Johner's are rather touchy about having it spelled incorrectly.

I whole heartedly apologize for the abbreviation...I wasn't aware....I know we Newfies are sensitive about the 's being dropped or added when it's not us people are talking about....which is why I asked
