Looking at booking the Dawn in June of ‘24. Can anyone tell me why I should stay away from this ship? Can anyone tell me the highlights or why I should? We are considering it because of the ports. Thanks to everyone.

Hopefully it doesn't come back.
I would hope it’s back by March. I am half way through GOLD and would love to have an option for gold cards to have first crack at it.

Friends sailing to Greece during the summer of 2022 on RCL were notified today that there sailing was cancelled. No explanation was given. Hoping Carnival does not follow. Anyone else heard of anything?

I thought it was ironic that 5 minutes after I got my vaccine shot last Friday, I got the email for the cancellation. Rebooked for 2022.

Would love to know as well since our August 2021 is in jeopardy. Would rather use our credits instead of having to go on Princess.

I’m ready to cruise and am looking forward to August 2021. I have no problem wearing a mask on our ship if we sail. It’s all about the we, not the me!

I wonder what was so important to break away from the tour.

I booked legend for August 2021. I’m not happy with the ship but it’s all about the ports. I made sure that my balcony was not above the life boats. Didn’t matter to me which side of the ship.

We always stay as high as possible on a ship keeping location (what’s above or below us) in mind. We spend most of our day on the lido deck which would be closer to our cabin if we need to go back for any reason.

Book it you won’t regret it!

Don’t know about anyone else, but I’m packing for August 2021...

Another option is to put any unused portion of your OBC on your Sail and Spend card at one of the slot machines in the casino, wait a few minutes, then go and cash it out at the casino cashier.
Have done that several times.

ALL 2021 European cruises have disappeared including mine in August.

I have read some other rumors on differences posts that carnival my move the Radiance to Europe and replace the Legend for the summer of 2021.

The Europe sailings for 2021 are cancelled. Period. They just haven't made the official announcement yet. When cruises like this are removed from the website, it means that they are cancelled. They always remove them prior to announcing the cancellations. So either they are going to make the announcement between the October and November cancellation announcements, or they are going to make it in conjunction with the November cancellations. My guess is the latter, because it will mean that I'll get to find out that both my Thanksgiving 2020 and Norway June 2021 cruises are cancelled at the same time. But mark my words, they are indeed cancelled.
Thanks for the buzz kill! Next thing your going to tell me is that Santa isn’t real...

Thanks for the update. I hope that everything you have been told is correct. We will be on the August 6, 2021 Legend with you. I could understand Carnival not letting you book a particular ship because of limitations, but why would they pull ALL European bookings?

Anyone know why they don’t offer FTTF for European sailings?

My PVP said today she believes Sailings will start early/mid June. Other than our current safety, which comes first, is the other country’s opening their ports.

My cruise planner still has the original due date (April 20) for final payment. 😔
My final payment is the same date. Is your trip scheduled for July 4? I would like to push back my final payment date also.

People have talked about plenty of chairs but what about when you are the second ship in port and the first ship arrived a few hours before you. What is the chair situation then?

Thank you everyone. For us traveling without the kids and first time to Europe, I was concerned that the ship might be a little tired.
