Hello
I tried to search for an answer but didn't find one for the Silhouette.
When we tender in GC do they give out tender tickets the night before so you know what time you can tender in, or is it just first come/line up for the tenders?
I understand if you have a ship excursion you probably receive tender time/information. Our excursion is as soon as we can tender off with a local company.
Also do they use the 300+ GC passenger tenders, or the Celebrity life boats as tenders?
I have been to GC several times on other ships having them use both options.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you Denie, we really enjoyed the Lawn Grill on the Reflection so looking forward to it on the SIL as well :)

Hello
What nights were the "evening chic" just curious for our Feb sailing :)
-
Hello,
I tried to search the forum for an answer before posting, sorry in advance if this has been answered before, I just could not find it :)
We have 5 cabins/couples that have all purchased the 4 night dining package on the Silhouette next Feb.
My question is once we board, can just one of us go to the dining desk with all the cabin numbers and names to make the reservations or does one from each cabin need to go?
-
Thanks - it wouldn't let me reserve. Maybe because our cruise is 4/12/2019:D
We are sailing Feb 2019 and I was able to secure the Alcoves for 3 sea days online on our 9 night sailing on the Silhouette. Do not wait very long the sell out fast, I tried to reserve for all 4 sea days but one of our sea days is already full.

I am on the 11th Nov sailing and had to pay 18.00 per person. If travelers from the earlier cruises advise that taxis are plentiful, than I will cancel the transfers and just taxi. I just wanted a plan B if needed :)

I have a friend on a the Reflection cruise with us and their husband might not be able to go due to work, but still wants her to go and take a friend instead.
Sailing date is December, (not a holiday cruise) however they have paid in full. BUT also have the insurance taken out with Celebrity.
Can she make a name change from her husband to a friend or would she have to cancel and rebook?
Going to call later but thought I would ask first. Could not find anything on website.
Thing is, rates have gone up about 350 per person from our original booking so trying to avoid any increase.
Any help is greatly appreciated thank you!

No limits. If u have same experience we had you will start out cruise thinking, wow...I'm going to show them how I get my money's worth..and end cruise saying, wow...I thought I could keep, the pace up, but failed!!!
Have great cruise.
Oh if I had to pay the $65.00 a day, no way would I get my $$ worth. I do not drink near enough. However taking the Go Best add on for just $315.00, after you minus out tips and the 150 cabin credit just leaves $75.00 for the drink package & internet so I will be able to get my $$ worth for that amount :)
-
THANK YOU!
That is exactly what I thought to "why bother to purchase"
I think the Celebrity chat lady did not have her coffee or something. Then I started questioning it that maybe the "go best" version had a limit or different rules to just purchasing it. She got me all confused!! :p
-
OK, Yes I really did try to find the answer before posting. I even tried calling Celebrity but hold time was over 30 minutes and had to give up.
I booked 4 cabins this last weekend and we all did the "Go Best" add-on for everyone. Since this is only my 2nd time on Celebrity and the other 7 in my group have never sailed on Celebrity, we are newbies to the beverage package. I have never bothered to purchase it on the other lines we have sailed on. We did it this time since the $313.00 we thought was a great deal for us since it included the other 3 options also.
Question is : Is there a limit to how many drinks or total cost you can do each day with the Premium package on Go Best? I know it is for drinks up to $13.00 but my question is, during the course of a day if I order several bottled waters, a few specialty coffees, a few beers, maybe a soda or 2, and during the evening a few other more expensive drinks is their a time they say "Sorry you have reached the $ limit for the day?"
Now before anyone starts saying I'm on a drunk fest or something we are not a drunk party group. It just seemed weird that the "chat person" on Celebrity website said you can only have up to $65.00 per day in cost of beverages each day. If that is true than while the heck would anyone purchase it? Is the "Chat person" wrong or is there a ceiling on $ each day. And yes I completely understand/agree if someone gets to drunk they should cut them off.
Any help/answer is appreciated

I am not sure which AOS you are referring to. On the Anthem of the Seas, the degree of formality is determined by the restaurant you are dining in.
Adventure of the Seas. Sorry been calling it AOS before the others came along- Only has Giovanni's
-
Thank you!!
-
Sorry, 7 nights 01/16 St Croix, St Kitts, St Maarten, Martinque and Barbados
-
What nights are formal nights on AOS? We want to do Giovanni's but would like to make a reservation on a non-formal night and not the first or last night either :) Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ha! Try again! But maybe we'll play you in the Super Bowl :D
Please say it's a 12th MAN FLAG!!! ~~~
-
Well I cruised the Met Life Stadium ship last year for Superbowl, WAS AWESOME! Food, drink and screaming 12's! :) This year I plan to repeat but cruise the University of Phoenix ship. Sailing from Glendale. I am sure the food drink & 12's will be there again :)
Luckily this year I am only 20 minutes away!
Sorry just couldn't resist! GO HAWKS!!
-
I am not sure if it depends on ship or not. We were on the Liberty and they opened up the door on the balcony for us between cabins. They could not remove the whole partition though.
-
Yes they do :)
-
trvldog, we were also on Liberty last April! We were on the April 5th sailing to the Western Caribbean out of Miami, were you on the same cruise? We didn't have the best weather but really loved Liberty. We'd love to do the southern out of San Juan on her.
Yes , we were on same sailing, didn't stop at Grand Cayman because of weather and pit stop in Keys for medical evack. But hey that is part of cruising ;) I remember laughing so hard at some teenager says on the phone to her friends "OMG we are stopping in Cuba for a medical emergency!" That girl needed to be back in school not on a ship if she thought the Keys were Cuba!! LOL I'd have stayed on the ship if it was me risking my health with ship doctor over Cuba hospital! Just cracked us up!
DH and I decided on Jan 2016 to take Liberty for this Southern sailing. Hawaii & New Orleans this next year so no cruising. :) (Oh and hopefully another trip to the Superbowl :) :) ) Least I am only 30 minutes away this year!
-
We have been on the Liberty twice and plan to take her again for this Southern route Jan 2016. We love this ship. Last April we have the Aft Balcony which we plan to do again.
When we went in April it was a sold out ship but we still had no problems finding chairs on sea days. We do not have kids so I will probably never cruise in March/April again, just to many kids running around.
We just normally taxi to beaches, or find a day rate at all inclusive hotel. We hardly do any excursions anymore.
St Thomas ~ we were married there 21 years ago and just LOVE this island. So many things to due, great shopping island, beaches like Magens Bay, or Coki Beach. We have done the St Johns ferry which is great day excursion you can do on your own. For a Snorkeling excursion we have done the Castaway Girls. Our friends have also shore dive from Coki Beach.
When we first started cruising we took more excursions now we just go to relax on a beach :)
This will be my first stop at St Kitts so will probably do an island tour.
We always fly into San Juan the day before since this is a Sunday cruise, we will take a red eye Friday night to arrive Saturday. That way we can explore San Juan. We enjoy hiking around the historical sites, great photo ops and fun. Carnival does offer Shuttle but we have always took a cab its about the same coast since transfers are about 30.00 per person and taxi is about 30.00 each way so 2 people kinds equals out but least with taxi you do not have the wait of the Carnival transfer.

Thanks everyone~

Asking if anyone has rented the cabanas before with Carnival in Roatan. If so when do you get assigned a cabana number when you arrive or is this something we can do when we board ship with the excursion desk? If you have rented one is there any favorite location or are the all about the same. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
