  1. We have done 2 previous cruises with MSC and have no issues. We’ve done 15 cruises on other lines and find them comparable but they are better priced for sure. We’ve got 2 more back to back cruises booked on the Seascape for a total of 28 days. Looking forward to getting away from the snow for a month.

  2. I’ve just booked a cruise with MSC and have been told I have to buy insurance through them. That’s crazy. We have our own travel insurance that covers Covid and everything else. This is the only cruise line that I’ve had to do this with. Has anyone else encountered this?

  3. Luggage tags normally become available for download at 49 days before the cruise. Check on Royal's website on the same page that you do online check-in. There should be a "Print Luggage Tag" button there when the tags become available.

    Thanks...Found it...

  4. I have been on many cruises but am shortly to take my first transatlantic trip. Can anyone tell me how the cruiseline provide for the six straight sea days? During sea days in port intensive cruises the public rooms, dining rooms and buffet are very crowded. Are there any ways Celebrity help to lessen this, perhaps with making dining room times longer or providing activities later in the morning so not everyone scrambles for breakfast to get to them? I'm looking forward to a relaxing trip but don't want to have problems finding space all the time. Thanks in advance for your help.

We have done 4 TA's and just love them. The Sea Days are my favorite. And there is so much going on. We are booked for a TA in November this year and November next year. We are addicted to them...Enjoy your Cruise. Once you take your first TA there is no going back...lol...

  5. Do they charge a fee for cancellation? I know some US agencies do.

    How did you find them?

do you find you get a better rate on board the cruises? I too am from Nova Scotia (Halifax) and we are looking at booking a trip for next November 2015. We are doing a cruise this November so would it be better to book on board, rather than use our TA?

  6. Fellow Canadians should look at Medoc travel insurance which is sold by Johnson.ca. Best medical and trip interruption/cancelation insurance out there. We have an annual policy which covers us for unlimited trips of 40 days (at a time) per year for about $26 pm for both of us and DH is a cancer survivor.

I heard about that plan too and heard nothing but good things about it. I too am a cancer survivor so I am worried that when I retire my travel insurance will go up dramatically. I am hoping that it won't...

  7. Fairly experienced cruiser here, but first time on Celebrity--and I can't figure out how to get luggage tags.

I've completed the online check-in (including financial stuff and all other requested info) and printed our Express Pass, and we sail a month from today--so we're well within the prescribed time period. Our Express Pass contains the image of a luggage tag but states that this is not a real one.

I can't find a link or any other clue how to get the real ones. It CAN'T be this complicated, can it??

Thanks in advance for any advice!

you have to wait 49 days or less before you can order. I looked for the same thing and this is what the site said.

  8. We had a tour on the Silhouette and they showed us where they do all the prep for gluten free. It's all by itself and there is no cross contamination . It was very impressive.

  9. We do Transatlantics and we just love them. We buy a return ticket and go over to Europe, fly home, then fly to Europe and sail home...Its the best. We are doing one in November on the Constellation and can't wait. We did the Silhouette in April and it was great...and gorgeous weather...
