Since I am the skeptical one, I have a question.  When you say it was not included, do you mean you could not get printed photos when other people were in the photo?  Or do you mean that you could not even get any digital photos even other people were in the photo?  Even the Captain or other Princess staff members?

By other people they meant any other passengers that you might be cruising with on that trip. We did get our port photos, champagne waterfall photo, etc., but you had to purchase any photos that included other passengers. Pictures including printed or on the usb including other passengers were not included in the photo package on the October 2018 Grand sailing. We had purchased the photo package twice before on the Grand and once on the Coral Princess. The rules definitely changed on the Grand.

  2. We have purchased the photo package four times in the past two years. Each time we were able to get all photos taken as long as myself or my husband were in the photo. That was not the case on our last cruise. In October of 2018 on the Grand we actually had to sign a form that we understood only pictures of my husband and myself were included in the package. If other people were in the photo then it was not included in the photo package.

  3. We did the 7:30 train up last July 1st. The train ride was very clear, a little rain, but no fog. About halfway down on the bus it was extremely foggy. We were unable to even see the suspension bridge or much around us. We we're glad that we picked the train first and Chilkoot. It was an excellent excursion.

  4. We did the 7.5 hour Chilkoot tour this summer with our two daughters 18 and 20. Train up, bus down with dogcart ride. The time went very quickly. The bus stopped numerous time for photo ops and the driver was very talkative. I would highly recommend the tour. It was our favorite excursion.

  5. We did the 7.5 tour this summer with the dog cart ride, train up, bus back down with Chilkoot Tours. It was amazing! The lunch does not make the $30 difference. The dogcart ride is actually costly, but so much fun. The puppies, farm animals and taxidermy museum were a hit too!

I have a daughter with peanut allergies and believe me the buffet on the cruise is more challenging then the lunch at caribou crossing! Most of the lunch was good to the rest of us, but the donuts were disgusting. She won't miss not eating those. I agree with others and bring a lunch or snacks that you know she can eat. We were only in the dining hall for about 15 minutes anyway. The rest of the tour was amazing with Chilkoot.

  6. We loved the Maxwell Hotel. They don't have a shuttle that takes you to the pier, but they have a town car service associated with them that we used to/from airport, to/from pier, Kale Express Towncar. They do offer a free shuttle to explore Seattle.

  7. I will tell you that at the beginning of July we were on another tour and saw the bikes being unloaded at the summit for this tour. It was so foggy that you could not see the car in front of you. Our tour driver said that she would never bike down the Klondike Hwy and that even as a driver of a small tour bus that she would never pass the bike riders. It is just too dangerous. The pictures they show on the website is not what it looked like when we were there with all of the fog and misty rain.
