  1. Sailed on September 3rd and we Loved this ship!

The staff was amazing! We were surprised how they would remember your name each time they saw you and if it was just a passer by, they would acknowledge you with a friendly Hello!

Catch the Playlist shows! They both were AWESOME! The Hasbro Game Show was fun also. Chris "Donkey" Salazar was a very energetic CD. Catch the Dr Suess Storytime & parade. It was fun to watch.

BAR B QUE Back of the ship on the deck above the Lido. Very Good and never was busy.

    ENJOY it ALL!

  2. I have heard that the Carnival Pride's Steak House is the best out of the entire fleet.

    Any truth to this?

We have had ok to good experiences, but the Pride is supposed to be exceptional. We are sailing in January and it's our first time on the Pride.

    What do you think?

  3. We purchased a photo and received a "Free" gift from Shutterfly.

A small luggage tag that would have the photo we purchased on it.

Went to the site to enter the code and no luck getting to a Shutterfly site that includes Carnival.

So my question to you fine folks is............

Is there such a site or am I just missing something?

  4. We have been on both and are Platinum Carnival Cruisers, but if those are the 2 choices I would have to go with the Navigator. Sunshine is cramped/crowded and even with all the new revamps that have been done, it still lacks the comfort that other ships offer. The Navigator was a new ship for us to cruise on and we really enjoyed it. More comfortable. OBC is always a plus. No mater what cruiseline you decide to use. Food on RCL not as good as Carnival, but you will not starve.

  5. Yes it was the Midport Garage. We dropped off our luggage, went to the garage and there was a shuttle waiting to take right back to the terminal.

Yes Heidi, it was Feb 6th sailing.

I understand they are building or remodeling that terminal. It's just that we have never encountered such a mess of an embarkation. If they are going to have 6-8 cruise ships in port at one time, maybe they should have more customs agents? Just a thought.

  6. Torture! No matter what ship goes out of this terminal, do not book it!

It took 2hrs to board the ship and that was with an arrival time of 12:45pm.

Extremely long lines to just get through security, then more long lines to get checked in. It was more of an empty wharehouse than an inviting terminal.

We noticed no special treatment of the special needs passengers or the Crown and Anchor passengers. People with wheelchairs were corralled outside and waited. Crown and Anchor members did get into a special line, that pretty much ended up right alongside the rest of us.

We were concerned with the parking and that was no problem what so ever. The shuttles were right there to take us to and from.

Debarkation. They were running 1 & 1/2 hours behind because there were not enough Customs Agents, so the terminal quickly filled up to capacity and they could not send any more passengers off the ship.

I'm not blaming RCI, they just got the short stick when Ft Lauderdale put NOS at that terminal. It did however give us a bad impression right off the bat.

  7. We sail her in 20 days! Sounds like we chose the right ship for a relaxing 5 day cruise.

Interested in the Havana Café and the Grand Plaza (Taste Bar) for breakfast.

as there a wide range of choices, or just Danish and coffee?

How about Lunch? Was it offered in these places also?

What were the shows like in the Liquid Lounge? Have heard mixed reviews.
