  1. I've heard people bring their own chairs to Cococay and it should be easy enough. And I agree about the crystal clear water. I'm south of you so I have the Mattaponi and Pamunkey. But I have a pool so I stick with that. Lol. I do not recommend shopping in Nassau. You don't save anything and it's crowded. The straw market is pushy and overwhelming. You can do an excursion to Paradise Island or take a water taxi. I think we are going to do the rainbow reef snorkel. And yes the pool is crowded. You can mostly wade or sit on the shelf and tan. There's no room to really swim. The Solarium pool is bigger and very quiet but no one under 16 allowed.

  2. I found a link on the Royal Caribbean blog that should answer all of your cabana questions. The link won't post directly here. If you Google coco cay cabana rentals, it's the first hit called What you need to know about......

Can you see your excursions yet?

On a side note, Bruce, who is now social meeting stalking whom? :D Only kidding. Your information was dead on.

  3. We are on the same sailing! As far as the beds, you can put in the request but I've noticed, they usually push them together anyway. They did in my kids' room when we went last year. I told the cabin steward they needed to be separated. She told me by 3:00. Sure enough, they were when we got back to the room at 3:15. As far as excursions, when I click on my reservation and go to the cruise planner, the excursions are there. If you are still having trouble, you can always go here just to look at them for now.

  4. What we do is give a cc number and go to Guest Services periodically throughout the cruise and pay it off with cash so it never hits the card. I don't know if that works for you. To answer your original question, I believe you can do what you are saying.

  5. We just took our 14 and 16 year olds on the Grandeur out of Baltimore. I was worried because it was a smaller ship without a lot of activities. I thought my fears had come true on embarkation day because there was whining about being bored. Then the teen lounge opened. We barely saw them the rest of the trip. They had such a great time, they begged to go back on the same ship. Who am I to argue? Booked for 8/7/14.

  6. I called about this cabin this morning and was told 535 sq. ft. A lot of mixed info out there. You will see two bathrooms, etc. My understanding is it's a king, two twins, two Pullman and a sleeper sofa so that's 8 but I think it's only one bathroom.
