  1. We will be cruising to nassau on sunday, may 11. We plan on going to Atlantis to visit the casino and maybe the digs. My questions are:

We would like an authentic but upscale bahamian lunch. Any suggestions or recommendations?

Also, best way to get to Atlantis that doesn't involve an overcrowded taxi or water taxi? Our first and only experience with Nassau was less than positive and we are hoping for a better time with this visit.

    Thank you.

  2. As a healthcare professional and a self-proclaimed germophobe, I can assure you that none of the wipes available at your local store will kill noro, nor will alcohol based hand sanitizers. The only substance known to dismantle the virus is a 1:10 bleach solution. Clorox cleanup spray qualifies as that, I believe. The reality is it is very difficult to avoid catching in closed environments. I do not personally travel during peak season for the worst bugs (noro, influenza, rsv) because that is just too much money to spend to have my vacation ruined.

  3. I can agree, too! My mom always says I'm happiest when I'm planning a big project. I planned to get married, then planned to have a baby and another, and now I plan several HUGE vacations a year. I enjoy it very much. I love researching which ship, itinerary and shore excursions. It gives me something to do with my time but its a rather expensive hobby :) Oh well, its fun!
