The Deck 3 midship, Reflections, dining room. Entry is behind the Atrium Bar area. All set time dining is there not just for late or large parties.
If I remember right that MDR has 1 table for 12, 10 tables for 10, 10+ tables for 6. If your party is larger than a single table will accommodate, they will try to seat your group at multiple tables close together.
Make sure all the bookings are linked for dining purposes. Just because you booked as a group might not guarantee that the Maitre'D knows that you all want to sit together or as close as possible to each other. Also linking the bookings might help anyone that is waitlisted for the group's prefered dinner time.
Thank you! We are going through a travel Agent this time bc of the large number of us going. As long as we are all in the same area we don’t all have to be at the same table. Lol, there are 22 of us as of now. Lol

On the Vista, which dining room is used for scheduled late seating with a large group?

Thank you all for the great tips! We are looking to spend less at this port b/c our other port excursions are little more expensive - so we were looking for a cheaper relaxing day! It seems as this will do nicely! :D

No they are in your mailbox outside the cabin , 1;30 PM if you are not a Diamond ,Plat ,or FTTF
That is where we are sailing out of too!

Thank you all so much! We have been to Roatan a few times but we have always done an excursion and this time we are looking just to relax on the beach.
Sounds like this will be our excursion this time!

Can someone please tell me or point me in the right direction to find these answers:
At the port of Mahogany Bay, Roatan, the beach is free correct? Can you rent the "flying chairs", floats, chairs, paddle boards, etc. separate from the packages that Carnival offers on their excursion page? Example: we want to just ride the "flying chairs" and get floats, would that be possible? If so, would anyone happen to know the individual pricing?
Thanks in advance.

Hey all!
Hubby and I are seasoned cruisers, however we have not sailed since Carnival implemented the new check-in/boarding process where your sail and sign cards are left at your cabin door instead of you receiving them at check-in. So, I have a few questions about the new boarding/check-in procedures on Carnival.
1. Are you allowed to go and grab your sail & sign cards as soon as you get on board even if it is before 1:30pm?
2. If you are not allowed to get your sail & sign cards before 1:30 and you board earlier, how will it work if I want a "drink of the day" or soda as soon as I get on board?
If you have any other advise or tips please share (but be nice please - lol!)

Good afternoon!
We are trying to plan our excursions for our cruise next May. We have a large group going and most of us want to zip-line. Our ports of call are Belize, Roatan, and Cozumel. Hubby and I have done the cave tubing and zip-line excursion in Belize and loved it, however we have heard that Roatan is the better port to zip-line.
So, my question to those who have experience in these excursions, which would you choose?

Did they change the water slide? We have been on the Magic and Breeze, but this will be our first time on the Dream in April. I am curious if the Dream has the waterworks and slides like the other two.

Thanks!

Been to Progresso three times. First time we did dzibulchaltun ruins and Merida tour. The ruins were great, swam in the Cenote at the ruins and then as we were driving to Merida my husband said "all that is missing is the beer" so the guide smiled and said he would take care of that and ran into a small store, came out with a case and sold to everyone for a buck a beer. Well worth it! In Merida instead of shopping with the group we ran into a restaurant and had a wonderful meal and then got back on the bus and headed for the boat.
Second trip, with just the ladies, we shopped for a few minutes and then caught a bus to an all inclusive resort to hang out by the beach with great margaritas and good food.
Third trip, took my two grown sons, 24 and 22 at the time, we called Lawson's and scheduled a private tour of the Cenotes and of a small authentic town. My kids thought this was a blast. The cenotes they took us to were without a doubt a lifetime experience. The town was quaint. Poor but quaint. Our guide bought several fruits and an avocado and we sampled different things we have never had. He supplied us with beer (seeing a pattern here) and on the way back we spotted a couple cooking chicken halves on an open grill and we bought two whole chickens. They chopped them up, put them on a platter and we are that whole chicken on the way back. My younger son was talking to locals about living there. He really wanted to move there for a year and do cenote tours!
Have an open mind, explore something different and talk with the locals! We go again next week and we can't wait.
Thanks! We are thinking about the cenotes tour.

My hubby and I are going on a 5 day on the Magic and I was wondering if I should look up the 5 day fun times from the Triumph or should I look at the fun times from the Magic. Sorry if this is a dumb question. Lol. We are just trying to get an idea of the on board activities. Thanks!

We have sailed Carnival twice and this past April (like you we wanted something different) and we sailed on the Caribbean princess. We loved it! It us beautiful ship and the service was wonderful. We would sail princess again in a heartbeat.
But I will have to say that I personally would pick the magic for the kids sake. Just seems like it has more to do for the kids. We are going back to Carnival in February on the magic. Nothing against princess, just want a party cruise this time. :-)

Thanks! On our last cruise we toured Tulum and loved it! So the ruins are a great idea! I love culture and history.

Hello all!
My husband and I are thinking of taking a quick 5 day get away and the stops are Progresso and Cozumel. We are not new cruisers, but this would be the first time to Progresso. I have heard mixed feelings about that port and I was wondering whether to book an excursion there or stay on the ship. Any excursion ideas would be helpful as well.
Thanks in advance!

Zipline/Cave Tubing/Jungle Buggy Excursion Worth it?
in Belize
Posted
Hello All!
We are going to Belize in May and are planning our excursions. My husband and I have done the cave tubing and zip-line and liked it - this time we are bringing the family. We are an adventurous family who loves to ATV/mud ride to the extreme and we are thinking about doing the excursion with the cave tubing/zip-line, and jungle buggy tour. My question is to those who have done this excursion with the jungle buggy/Polaris side-by-side - is it worth it?
