Thank you!

We are cruising next September for Venice to Barcelona with a stop at Igoumenitsa. In searching, I haven't found a local tour company and wondered if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks!

We were supposed to be on the cruise and were disappointed when we looked at the itinerary. You might want to look at Marina's itinerary; for April 19 - May 3, 2019 going from Southampton to Barcelona for 14 days. We opted to switch to this cruise.

Thank you. Both towns look easy to do a self tour.

We will be going to Brest October, 2019. Would appreciate your info on a private transfer to Quimper. Thanks!

We just came back today using Native Tours and they did a great job.

We just went on Trikes tour yesterday and had a blast. Highly recommend this tour.

Just used laundry room on Sierra today and there are 6 washers and 6 dryers...also 2 ironing boards. Room very small, but works and is on deck 7. Each machine uses 1 token. Laundry soap supplied.

We are looking at booking a tour with SOS Manta in Manta, Ecuador. Concerned that they want money wired to them. Has this been your experience with SOS Manta?

We are doing them February 12 at 8:30 a.m. I think they try for the morning so that if it rains, you can try again in the afternoon. Plus it will be cooler in the morning for those of us who can’t handle the heat later in the day.

We will be in Salaverry on February 26 and have booked a tour with Trujllio Tours.

Does anyone know if you have to go through customs at Lima International Airport once you get off the cruise ship and are traveling to Cusco from the airport? I have searched the boards and can't find an answer to this. We are traveling from Miami to Lima in February and then flying to Cusco to visit Machu Picchu. Thanks!

Our Cruise Ship is arriving on Sunday and I asked our private guide about buying rum and cigars. I was told that the stores close at 1:00 p.m.

My husband and I did Alaska last year. We ended up sailing on Regent so that we could start in Vancouver and end in Anchorage. After the cruise, we did a land tour on our own and spent time in Fairbanks, Denali and Anchorage. We love Oceania, but their Alaska cruises didn't meet our needs.
-
Thank you very much for this. We will be going next February.

We have been on 4 Oceania cruises and I have always worn sandals to dinner -- not flip flops -- so you will be okay. Some people really dress up, but the majority dress "country club casual". Your outfits will do just fine and your husband doesn't need a tie. Hope this helps and enjoy your cruise.

Thanks to all of you for your advice.
-
Thank you. That will help us decide which flight to take.

Just to clarify, there is a custom area we have to go through when we leave the ship. Is it right there, or at the airport. Also, thanks for your tip. We are already planning to go from Cusco directly to Ollantaytambo. We plan to stay there for 3 nights and go to Machu Picchu for a day from there.

We will be getting off our cruise ship in Lima, Peru and getting a flight to Cusco, Peru. Does anyone know if you have to go through customs in order to fly domestic to Cusco? Thanks!

Two years ago we used Smith's for Airports car service to drive us from Southampton to Heathrow Airport. The driver picked us up around 9:00 a.m. and said that we were after the "rush" driving around London. You might want to contact them to see if that would work for you. As was mentioned before, we got to the airport and had to wait in the lobby area before they would allow us to go through security to board our plane.

Thanks, but I wasn't clear. We will be leaving our cruise ship and flying from Lima to Cusco. Hoping to store our large suitcase at the Lima Airport for about 5 days. I know there is a luggage facility, just didn't know if they could accommodate a large suitcase. Hoping a fellow cruiser will be doing this before our trip February, 2018.

Has anyone stored a piece of luggage at the Lima, Peru Airport? Our piece of luggage is 34" high (including wheels), 20" wide and 12" deep? We want to visit MP and surrounding area for a few days and only take a smaller suitcase. Appreciate any help we can get. Thanks!

The new roll out for 2024, not selling as it used to?

We would love to go back to cruising, but needing a COVID test before returning to the U.S. has stopped us from cruising.
