We are perplexed. NCL announced some months ago that the Michael Mondavi Family was parterning to create a fantastically upgraded wine list for the entire NCL fleet and that it would be debuted on NCL Getaway's sailings. Since then there has been no information regarding the debut released. No one at NCL concierge seems to know anything about it. Do any of you who cruised the first four Caribbean cruises have any information regarding this matter? We are cruising soon and need to know if we should bring our own wine.

The 4,000-passenger Norwegian Getaway—making her debut in January 2014—will test the updated wine menu on its Caribbean voyages before the new selection of wines are embraced by the rest of the fleet over the course of the year.

The Mondavi Family also produced an interesting series of videos about wine-tasting, which will be aired on the onboard entertainment system in staterooms.

We have not been able to find the new wine menu. It seems like it should be available at this time. We contacted pre-cruise Concierge and thay hardly knew what we were talking about.

Can anyone sailing on 'Getaway' post the menu or provide any information regarding this subject?

You may be the only one who knows when MODERNO CHURRASCARIA will open on POA. NCL website says it's finished but ‘What’s on board?” does not list it. I have read your prior postings "Moderno is now open and it looks beautiful! We hope you enjoy dining in there during your cruise!" Now I read about your cruise and your 5/19/13 posting with the following brief statement, "The crew on board has no control over what corporate does or says - including the mis-information about Moderno."

Can you provide some details?
