I thought maybe with all the overpriced toiletries they tried to sell you in the spa that perhaps the same product line may have a bubble bath they offered. After all, I doubt all the face creams, lotions, and potions will all be used on board either.

Does anyone know if Carnival sells bubble bath in the spa or elsewhere on board?

When you are doing your mock booking, you pick your stateroom type and your rate. If your rate includes upgrades, then when you go to actually book your room location you will see that some floors and/or areas say 'upgrade included in price'. This means that ordinarily those decks or locations would charge an upgrade but under your offer you can pick them for the same price.

I just got a call. I booked online and had a balcony guarantee.

The Upsell fairy called today about my upcoming cruise. The offer was a balcony to an ocean suit for $500.

I know this wasn't super cheap but we are travelling with an infant so the bathtub, exta space, and priority embark are appealing.

Did I pay too much? I can't compare prices because it seems like my sailing is fully sold out and no longer appears on fare viewer or the main search.

Your thoughts?

We are travelling with a 9 month old infant. We are considering booking in to the steakhouse during our cruise. Would we be charged an extra person for her? At 9 months old she eats about 1 tbsp of food when she eats solid food at all. I would hope that they do not charge for such a guest, but then again we have to pay full fare for her cruise, so I would not put it past them.

Can anyone tell me if the steakhouse charges for infants?

I've heard that the later your assignment, the better the chance for an upgrade. Maybe this is good luck.

If you know what cruise you want, then book it. You can always get price drops if the rate goes down after you've booked. Even without early saver, you can get price drops up until final payment. Basically if you book now you will still get the best price.

Only if you aren't sure which cruise to take and are hoping for a great deal/sale should you wait. You never really know if a certain cruise will go in sale.

Let Carnival keep count. It's better than getting an extra thousand dollars tacked onto your tab at the end of the cruise.

We are on the Carnival Splendor in a few weeks with our 9 month old baby. I am torn between having a crib brought in and just sleeping with her in our bed. I'm not sure how big the crib is and how space it would take up in the room?

Does anyone have pictures of a crib in a carnival room? we have a balcony but I expect it is similar size to any other regular cabin.

I did but I'm not sure that it's what you mean. We planned to be in the Miami area for a fair bit of time and booked our flights. Afterwords I looked for cruises that fell within our timeframe. I was able to book us a great deal. I'm not sure I would've done the same thing if we were trying to fly in and out the same week.

It is possible that a number of people on the wait list don't care too much either way. When booking you get the choice of early, late or anytime. Many people go to the buffet and so would not particularly care, many others would happily go to the buffet, still others are flexible in their needs. I don't think it unreasonable for someone who feels strongly to make their request known.

Book with the name on the passport. Other documentation won't be required so no one will see the drivers license etc. The passport is the document hat needs to match the traveller. We've been going through this for 4 years, since the wedding.

There appears to be about 15 balconies left across all categories. I don't know if that's a lot or not.

I am about 30 days out from my cruise. I have booked a balcony guarantee during one of the amazing recent sales. I've never booked guarantee before.

I recently went through the. Online check in process and my room is still not assigned.

Does anyone know what triggers assignment of the guarantees? I've read some people leaving on later cruises that have their assignments. Is it generally good, bad, or indifferent if the assignment is delayed?

I realize that I may not be assigned until I show up for the cruise and I am fine if that is the case, it's a good bargain for the money I saved, but I'm curious if any knows what factors could've in play?

What does this mean? If we bring an extension cord in our checked luggage it will be confiscated? Are we supposed to only bring one in our carry on?

Have you checked into the cost difference if you get an i side cabin for rhe kids? You don't usually pay much less for 3rd and 4th in a cabin, you might find that getting them an inside is the same price or even less. If you can get a room across the hall you will still be very close by.

I heard that you can get as many appetizers and desserts as you want but only one entrée. Is that true?

Also we will be cruising with the baby they don't charge an extra person for a baby that's nine months old do they?

I'd like to find out what will be served on which nights on my upcoming cruise. I'm interestedin trying the Steakhouse for the firsttime, but I don't want to miss anything good in the MDR.

I have found menus for my ship on beyondships but it was not for my exact intimerary. Does this matter? How consists t are the menus.

The night that looks the least interesting to me is the first night. Do they still offer a free bottle of wine on the first night? How does that work? Can I pick any bottle (obviously not)?

Would it be best to wait until I board to make my reservations or would it be better to book in advance? If I book in advance can I still cancel once I board ifsomething changes?

I have not seen this option in any Carnival materials I have seen, but it was certainly promoted heavily on Princess.

I noticed that the Redfrog bar has a number of rums that seem to be specific to a carribean island. So depending on where your stops are, perhaps the island's local rum?

Seems weird to pay $300 for free sushi. I hope she has other reasons as well.
