You can order now and he sends the current guide but lets you know to email him a few weeks before you leave and he will email you back the latest updated one available.

We have booked a car on May 13th from Avis and are really excited about the drive. I have purchased Murrays guide and it has some great info, would highly recommend it for the price. I emailed Murray and he is optimistic about the ice being gone from Emerald lake by the time we get there. Have a great trip.

We are leaving on May 10th and have booked a car rental for Skagway to do the drive to Emerald lake. Price wise it is very reasonable and from everyone that I have talked to it is supposed to be amazing. It is one of the things I am looking forward to most of all.

I have a car booked through Avis for May 15th in Skagway and my understanding is that this changed on June 1, 2012 and it is now legal for Canadians to drive a US rental car into Canada. I did read it on a Canadian government website but can't find the link right now. I can let you know for sure when we get back.

I was told by our PCC that you could pay the difference in price over $7 but I guess we will find out soon. I really hope that is the case as it makes the most sense. But when has a company ever done what makes the most sense.

We booked our 2014 Alaska cruise around a month ago through HAL and I called them to ask them about this today. They immediately rebooked us under this promo with the $100 per stateroom per day beverage credit and the free dinner in one of the specialty restaurants. We couldn't be happier. We were looking into purchasing the beverage package at $39.95 per day so this will cover that plus we can use it for coffee/sodas ect. Really happy with this. :)
