Thanks to everyone for all the updates and info re the conversion  to MS MAUD . 

We -2 couples -are not going on her until AUG 20th 2022 so hopefully the work will ALL be finished and any new teething problems will be sorted . 

I have looked but so far have failed to find a specific ROLL CALL for our trip so wondered if one has been started yet -if yes please can someone let me know ?

Sorry for the delay in replying but have just got back from a 2 weeker on Oceania`s Riviera cruising the Med -Barcelona to Istanbul .

Re your query we did what you are doing 3 years ago -Windwards on Royal Clipper -so not new to the ship but a new route for us although last year we did ABC islands off the Maasdam .

So any advice will be much appreciated now or probably as it will be bang upto date when you get back . By all means use my email address -goaterml@gmail.com

Please do reply so we can share ideas re what to do and where ,learn from past cruise experinces and start the "getting to know you" process.

Very many thanks Mike for your advice -Have now opened roll calls for the ROYAL CLIPPER in March 2015 as well as the Hurtigruten cruise on board the MS Midnatsol leaving Bergen in Nov 2014

I am trying to find the rollcall for the above .I realise I may be a bit early ,but it would appear that Star Clipper Roll calls for any of the sailing ships do not exist on the Cruise Critic website .

I am new to the CC system and may have got it all wrong ,so if anyone can help by directing me to the roll call if it already exists or even if a fellow passenger reads this and can set up the Roll Call -that would be a great start.

I am looking at organising a cruise for a group of 4 mid 60`s friends to Alaska .I have been in the past with Princess but really felt we would have benefitted from a smaller ship that could get into some of the more secluded areas & therby have a greater chance of seeing Wildlife .We would need to fly from the UK and would be thinking about a 10-14 days cruise with a bolt-on for a few days on land pre or post the cruise .

So using the experiences out there Please if anyone has any advice at all re companies ,places to go ,ships, timings -extra trips ,hotels etc -it will all be gratefully received and duly acknowledged.
