  1. Meow Meow Cruise! The cruise for cat lovers!

No, you can not bring your furry children on board, but join other like minded people in their love for their cats. They have group dining, cat trivia, cat scavenger hunt and more. They also welcome all pet lovers and if just interested in the cruise portion they can assist you with that and you can be included on the extra perks and service.
This year they are happy to be doing two wonderful options.

    MEOW MEOW CRUISE (1).png

  2. They do a meow meow mixer where there is free drinks and cat scavenger hunt. They have cat trivia with prizes and go to the cat in the hate breakfast. It was a lot of fun with other cat lovers. Been on all of them and always a blast.

All of my kitties are my favorite. I miss them so much when I am gone, but at least other people know what I am going through.

  3. I love dogs too:)

On last year's Meow Meow Cruise the last day 3 people admitted to be DOG lovers. They thought if the coordinator knew they would not be allowed to participate. lol Meow Meow Cruise does not discriminate.

  4. Come join other cat lovers for the 4th annual Meow Meow Cruise in November 2018. This year is a 4 night Bahamas cruise on Carnival Liberty out of Port Canaveral. Come join the fun with other cat lovers. Events include meow meow mixer, meow meow trivia, meow meow scavenger hunt, and a meow meow goody bag!

  5. As long as they want to be petted there is no issue. We went last year on the Meow Meow Cruise, which is a cruise group for cat lovers. I think they are doing key west again in 2019. I had one cute teen kitty follow me around and jump on my lap the whole time there. Such an adorable cat. Many of them allowed me to pet them.

  6. Why do people always think Meow Meow Cruise is a strange theme cruise? I think people automatically assume it is all crazy cat ladies with 100 cats. It actually is a really diverse group with all ages and sexes. I just think it is a lot of fun with people who are together who have a common interest, but it tends to be put down a lot.

Why are there no cat icons? lol

  7. We booked a round trip from Sarasota to Ft. Lauderdale this November. We were left stranded in Sarasota with no pick up. They claimed they driver was there and he was not and we showed up 15 minutes prior to the timed pick up. Luckily, we found another service and were told this was typical of this company.

On the way back we made sure to call dispatch and we were told if we were not there by 11:45AM (our designated time) they would not wait and would leave. We were stuck in customs and got out at 11:42AM and I ran to the shuttle, which I saw shutting doors and the driving going to leave without us. He had no idea how many people were supposed to be in the shuttle. My mother had no time to go to the bathroom and we were crammed into a van that was too small for the amount of people. There was no enough seat belts for everyone and luggage crammed up to the ceiling. We finally made a stop after 1.5 hours and were not allowed a bathroom break. My poor mother was in a panic along with some other passengers.

It was the worst service ever! And very dangerous!

  8. It is random. I have booked first time cruisers and had them upgraded a few categories and then some Carnival VIFP and the same thing. I think it is not a terrible idea if you really do not mind and are not going with a group. My first cruise I got upgraded from inside to oceanview. It really depends on availability.

  9. Best thing to do is just book, check a few times and never look back. You will drive yourself nuts otherwise. Enjoy your cruise.

But to answer your questions, yes you can keep lowering it as long as you still have that early saver rate. Most of the time a sale will come up and then your rate changes so at that point you would have till final payment to see if you have a better deal (unless it is a non-refundable rate like pack and go) As far as how long early savers rates, that is up to to Carnival.

  10. Thank you for the clarification from a TA.. my group consists of family and close friends celebrating a special occasion. Most of the people coming are 1st time cruisers and have no knowledge about OBC and not anticipating any.

I'm paying for a welcome gift for each room as a thank you. If my TA would have mentioned the number of GAP points and my options, I could have split the GAP points between a smaller OBC and a welcome gift. Honestly, the people in the group would appreciate the welcome gift more than the OBC.

Hopefully, you are correct regarding the berth. I just feel in general the TA has offered less information vs more information and most of the information provided has been in response to questions after reading something on CC. In general, I guess I prefer options.

Also, check with the TA to see if you can change the GAP points to include a gift (to be honest the cash is worth more). You can adjust them up to a certain time. And don't forget the TC is just the cruise fare (no fees or taxes), and usually of the lowest cat.

  11. Yes, as a TA I know how both ends of the cruise booking works. If you are working with a TA you should go to that TA with all changes and things dealing with the cruise line. They are there for you! :)

As for upgrades out of the blue, usually that is the case when you go with guarantee cabins (you do not pick your stateroom), otherwise there usually is an up charge.

Good luck and have a great trip!
