The cost is 150 Kuna per person. They will accept Croatian Kuna cash, no foreign currency and credit/debit cards - yes.
Thanks !

Any recommendations for a private guide to do a walking tour in Kotor, Montenegro ?

Thanks for answering my question about the distance to the walls. Just a quick question - what is the cost to walk the walls and do they only take Kunas? Thanks

Thanks for all the helpful information you provide. Is it possible to walk from the pier to the walls? My husband and I are walkers and would prefer to walk. We'll be there on September 26 this year. Looking forward to our visit.

Thanks everyone for the info. We are planning on going late in the day - trying to avoid the crowds and heat.

Hi,
We're stopping in Dubrovnik in September and are interested in walking the walls. I've been watching videos and it looks beautiful. Has anyone done this who can give me some tips such as the cost, best time to walk, where to start the walk, etc. Thanks in advance.

I have not see Salerno on an itinerary -- is this a larger 'popular' cruise line or one of the smaller luxury lines? Also, do any of the larger cruise ships go along the Amalfi coast?
Thank you
It a Princess cruise.

Our port is Salerno. Does that make a difference?

There are a number of ferries that connect Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi and Salerno. If you like, you can catch the ferries in one direction and return via the local bus service along the Amalfi Coast.
Thanks for the info. I'll look into it.

Has anyone toured the towns on the Amalfi coast by boat? If that is a possibility, we may opt for that instead of a private tour by car.
Thanks,

We're interested in visiting The Citadel on our visit to Corsica in September. We dock in Ajaccio. How far is The Citadel from the docking area? Any other suggestions for our visit?

We made it in june with my wife and we had the greatest day of our cruise.
Our guide was Romain. I even kept his phone number if you want. He was perfect and drove us in a beautiful Jaguar with champagne included.
Regards
Thanks ! I'll check it out.

Thanks everyone for the info. We're planning on staying on the ship as long as possible since our flight is 12:30 p.m. Will we be able to find a taxi if we're one of the last ones off the ship?
Thanks,

We're looking for a car service to take us to the airport from the ship in Barcelona. Also, does anyone know the driving time to the airport?
Thanks,

We (a family group of 6 adults) can highly recommend William (Guillaume) Bertrand of Provence Trips and Tours (http://www.provence-trips.com/. He is knowledgeable, informative and entertaining and will design a tour for you. We went to Sanary sur Mer as a first stop before any other tourists arrived and visited the town and the open air market, then went to Bandol and visited a wonderful winery for a wine tasting that included a visit to the family's private museum of wine making implements, and then had a lovely lunch in a hill town overlooking Castelet.
Thanks for the information. How long did it take to get to Sanary due Mer?

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful tour by Catherine of Tour Designer in Provence. Our ship was originally scheduled to dock at La Seyne Sur Mer but put into Toulon. Catherine was aware of this and met us there.
We visited the beautiful fishing village of Cassis, toured the market there and took a boat ride to see the Calanques (impressive limestone cliffs). We saw the Cap Canaille and drove up Montagne St. Victoire for a beautiful view of Cassis.
We then traveled to Catherine's home town of Aix-En-Provence. Catherine gave us the option of purchasing some charcuterie for lunch in Cassis or eating in Aix. She took us to one of her favorite restaurants in Aix which was frequented by locals. Lunch was wonderful. We saw the sights of Aix including the Cathedral and the Cours Mirabeau.
Catherine was very knowledgable and pleasant. She patiently waited while I took many photographs and took several of my wife and I as well. She was happy to customize our tour. We felt like we had made a new friend by the end of the day.
I hope you enjoy your visit whatever you decide to do.
I wrote to Catherine several weeks ago and haven't heard back. When did you do the tour with her?
Thanks,
Susan
