  1. The problem with the premium cabin is that the seats are 2-3-2 and as many passengers travel in pairs it means that the window and aisle are booked first and the centre rows are then booked as a two next leaving an odd seat on the aisle.these odd seats then seem to get allocated at the airport meaning that couples are then seated one behind the other. Appreciate that many people travel in singles or groups but in my experience this is what has happened in premium economy on a number of fly cruises.

  2. We always try to book premium cabin and do pay the extra to reserve specific seats ...the two by the windows. They do go quickly though as most people travel in twos and seem to prefer them. The middle rows are in 3 s and it tends to be that single seats are left to be allocated at the airport.

  3. We have done both and prefer the Friday flight as we find it quite depressing once we have arrived back in Barbados and it's as though the cruise is over as they start loading the ship with provisions for the next cruise and passengers are leaving and arriving. They are washing balconies down. We prefer the day in port at the beginning when we awake early and go to the beach for the day. But it's all down to personal preference.

  4. Somebody is trying to make a joke Mary. As though it would be sold to Cruise and Maritime. Take no notice. I don't know the answer to your question though.

Thanks, the "joke" passed me by.

  5. A colleague of mine works at a travel agency and I am able to see the itineraries.

There are missing some cruises of Ventura and Oceana maybe I will put them tomorrow here.

Hi Do you have any info on Adonia 2016 please

  6. I agree. I have long held the opinion that it is we, the British, who are the world's most proficient sun-bed nabbers. I have witnessed this frantic activity both in hotels and on cruise ships. We always book a balcony so we never have to partake in this unsavoury frenzy. Perhaps vouchers should be issued to those with inside/outside cabins so that they are guaranteed a sunbed if they wish to lie in the sun. Those with outdoor space, ie. balconies, could take up the slack, as it were. As a couple, if we ever lounge around on deck (which is rare, as my husband doesn't 'do' sitting), once we decide to move, that's it - sunbed is up for grabs. Wouldn't dream of keeping it for later.

So people who pay less for inside cabins/outside cabins get a voucher for a guaranteed sunbed on deck. I don't think so. I certainly don't want to spend the cruise sitting on a chair on the balcony that has cost more than twice the price of an inside and may be in the shade some days, while folk who have paid considerably less for their cabins get the sunbeds on deck. I think it's back to the drawing board on your idea.
