If you want your cabin ready before 1-1:30PM you will need FTTF. If you want Priority Guest Services line you will need FTTF.
Thank you [emoji3]

I guess I just don't get the whole uproar about suites. I've booked one for this Feb so we could have a little more room to care for our grandson while our son and his wife get to enjoy some time on the cruise.
I didn't book one to get stuff or be treated differently. It's a bigger room. That's all. When the cruise ends its back to regular life.
No uproar, I am just trying to figure out if I need to order water beforehand or if it is included in the new suite perks, and if I still need FTTF.

The dedicated line at GS comes with Platinum, not the Suite. So RjayB already had that.;)
Yes, I was just saying that is what platinum gets that suites do not[emoji3]

It is rather known on here that if you call Carnival customer service 6 times on same issue you will get at least 7 different answers.:)
Lol- they called me to offer me the upgrade to a suite and she was reading off the list of reasons why I would want a suite.

Can't see this happening as the same room steward takes care of a block of suites. One steward told us he hated having suites. Takes an hour to do one v 30 minutes for a regular cabin.
Times might have been an exaggeration but it does take longer.

I thought the same, but a carnival employee told me my room would be ready when I called, but then she also said I would not get priority tender...... I wish they all had correct info so that we could be better informed.

I am both Platinum AND have a suite in about 4 weeks. I don't think there are any suite perks that add to what I already get as platinum, apart from the room itself. We like the extra room so that will be great, but other than that there is no difference from us booking a standard balcony. :o
I believe you have the dedicated line at guest services. [emoji3]

Suites will not be ready upon boarding. You will need to be Diamond/Platinum/FTTF for that.
A Carnival rep told me that with the new perks as of Sept 1st it would be. This is part of my problem, I am not sure if I still need to purchase FTTF like I used to in the past. I love being able to drop my things off in my room.

Currently in Grand Suites on the Vista the perks include priority embark and debark, Priorty Tender, free water, Free laundry, specialty chocolate at turndown, Keurig coffee machine and upgraded linens.......Per John Held these perks and some yet to be announced ones will be fleetwide in Sept
I asked him about the additional perks on the Vista as we cruise Oct 1st and he answered me back that I'd be very happy with the upcoming unannounced ones too
We'll will see.....I'm Already Happy just to have the coffee maker, laundry n water so anything else will be icing on the cake lol
Thank you for the info. Just a couple of questions: Was it one free bag of laundry per suite or per person? Also, was it unlimited free bottled water? (Just so I know if I need to still pre-order bottled water or not). Last, was your suite ready when you boarded? Thank so much!

I cannot seem to find the new perks on Carnival's website.
-
On Cruise Critic and Google. Some say your suite will now be ready upon boarding, some say priority tender, some say one free bottle of water, and so on.
-
Does anyone know for sure what these new perks are? I am finding conflicting information. Thanks in advance.

When we were on the Magic and had the 7am port time we ordered room service for breakfast. It worked out really well!

I have sent you an e-mail. Thank you!

Great review! Thank you. Do you by any chance have any of the fun times?

We did the Conquest last May and loved it!

Gone [emoji22]

I am not criticizing, it just funny when you compare the two ships. Don't stop! Lol

I am enjoying your review. Thank you! I must say that I have giggled quite a lot reading your review. The Conquest guys would have irritated me too, even though I have sailed the Conquest and loved it. I do not mean my next statement in a bad way, but do you realize how many times you have compared your experience on the Dream to the Elation? [emoji3][emoji56] Each time I read the comparison I smile and giggle. Cannot wait to read the rest! Keep it coming.

Check deckplangenius.com and type in your ship and cabin number. Then read the pros and cons for that cabin.

Cbuzzy could you possibly post the fun times on here or email them to me. I have looked for it online and cannot find it. Thanks!!

I will be saving $360.00 on mine. They will not do the price change over the phone. I hope I do not have too much trouble getting it changed using the price protection form.

I cannot decide between Conquest or Valor. Conquest will be going to Eastern Caribbean for 8 days and Valor to Western for 7 days. Thanks for any advice.
