Now I have another k on for question I was told that the hotel that we are staying in when we get to San Juan Pr is now still being work on It is the Condado Plaza Hilton does anyone know anything about this hotel.
Just stayed there on Sunday. Did not see or here any construction going on. Limited operations for bars and restaurant. You had to text if you need anything. Nice location with small beach, Several pools and Hot tubs. We went straight from the ship. They held our bags until room was ready. Check in is at 4 but they are slow getting the rooms ready.

We just got off the Freedom a couple of weeks ago. The only place we felt crowded was the Windjammer for breakfast. There did not seem to be a lot of kids. Normally DD finds some to hang out with but stuck with us most of the cruise. There were a lot of large family groups on this cruise. Had different feel then other cruises we had been on in the past. Not bad, just different.

Works great if you know exactly what cruise you want to go on and book nonrefundable. If you think you are going to change the dates or ship little to no benefits. When we checked into it 2 weeks ago and wanted refundable because dates we wanted have not been released yet, we would have gotten only $75 on board credit and no break in the deposit. Not worth it to tie up the full deposit for a couple months for $75

We will be on the same cruise. We have been watching prices for a while and decided to wait to buy. We did not want to go down on Friday because didn't want the daughter to miss school that day. We decided it was not worth it to fly in on same day unless we went through royal airtosea. At least then if issue they can get you to the next port. We will probably just take her out of the school and head down on Friday.

The regular price onboard must be $60. $60 + $30 (50%) =$90 $90/2 = $45 Plus the 18% on the $45
Of course they charge a little more or less depending on the cruise. I know I am paying $42 for ours in Oct. and I have seen $48 on others.

We drove from Minnesota to Ft Lauderdale once for a cruise. There was 5 of us so saved alot of money over airfare. (8-900 dollars) We actually drove almost straight through. We did stop a couple of hours at rest stop so I could get some sleep. We had driven long distances before so everyone knew what to expect. Kids had games and movies and we brought along snacks and drinks. Just plan on stopping fairly regularly to stretch out your legs. I did seem like it was much longer drive home afterwards. :DI would do it again.

We have always sent a email to special needs. They will set you up with extension cord and distilled water.
Definitely carry it on. What happens if you luggage is lost or damaged. Because it is a medical device it does not count against your 1 carry on for flights.

We have been on 4 spring break cruises including the vision on the 14th. Yes there were more breakers on this one than others we have been on probably because it left from Tampa. Its to bad a few behaved badly on your tender. We spent alot of time on or near the pool deck (DD almost grew gills) and were not bothered by any behavior we saw. Once in a while someone might yell about their school but many other adults joined in as college kids. Never heard any swearing and had no problems walking around on the track. of course we like to people watch and think of some of it as free entertainment. Maybe its just the way you look at things. We would have no problem (and probably will) book a spring break cruise again.

We just got off Vision this morning. You are correct but I had to take mine out of it's case.
Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
How was the quality of the wifi on the vision? We are trying to decide if we should get it all week.

Had drink package on last cruise and did not have to sign any receipts. Did not notice any difference in service compared to other cruise with out drink package. Of course I normally tip a little even with drink package.

wrong info
I took picture of the taxi rates. To Condado rate is $17 plus $1 per person and $1 per bag. We took a taxi from the ship to the Hilton. Was $17 plus tip for 3 people and 4 bags. So $10 plus the number of bags and people when you head to the dock..
