Good morning all. I will be planning a family cruise for June 2020. The ages of my party are 59,44, 29, 26, 22, 2. I would like to go to the Caribbean but I am not sure if the islands are restored from the past hurricanes. I've been to Bermuda twice and would like to go again, but also want to try other places. Those in my party have never cruised or gone to Bermuda If Caribbean where would you go why and which Cruise Line?

Yes. Its where you can talk to people that will be on your sailing, and someone( not sure who)sets up a meet and greet once on the ship for those on the roll call. On top of cruise critic page click on roll call. Next, click the cruise line,sail date and it should appear. If not you can start the roll call yourself. So far thsts all I know. Have a safe fun blessed trip!

There are lots of people around, just walk close to another group. I have also walked into town by myself but

that was in Alaska so that was fine.

Alone in a taxi maybe not such a good idea. If only for the reason let's say they drop you off at the beach and

you get injured and nobody to has your back so to speak. I fell on a private excursion in Curacao and it

was great to have someone with me. Ship excursions are good too. Lots of people traveling by themselves on

them.

 

 

Yes i have no prob walking around bermuda by myself its just the private tour alone that I'm uncomfortable with...I just joined the roll call so maybe i can find someone to go with me or book through the ship. Thanks so much to you and the others for your replies

Morning all.  I booked a private tour of bermuda, I was so excited! Now im rethinking it because i am a female and will be going by myself.. Just wanted some advice on what to do.

That is what I believe you meant!   Unfortunately, DH and I always use credit card, so I don't know your answer (IF that is what you meant to ask).  I'm sure others could reply to my interpretation of your question.

Afternoon all. Start off fee for onboard credit is $300 hundred with credit/debit. Is that the same wth cash? I've sailed before but its been awhile so sorry ahead of time if its a dumb question.

Morning all. Sailing on the gem 4/12-19. I will be taking a solo tour 4hrs($50 an hr) with quintin bean. How much should I tip him? Also, any thoughts on. Where to go or must see places? Been to caves, swizzke inn and horseshoe. Thank you kindly for your replies!

Morning all. Sailing solo on march 3rd-10th florida/bahamas. Planning on staying on ship in nassau. I been to nassau 5years ago and was disappointed, however, I was thinking of MAYBE doing a tour of the island.  Need opinions ideas thoughts on where to go and a tour guide. This trip is a self therapy/vaca but want to enjoy as well. The sound of the ocean and beautiful water is very therapeutic so any ideas are appreciated.

Hey all. Need help on finding private tour guide for bermuda. All the reviews i found are pretty much old and two of the people i was interested in, i heard they passed away! I will be sailing on nov 10-15 gem. Thanks a bunch.

For me, walking up that good ole ramp to start my vaca! Looking at and hearing the ocean. Looking at the sky and water(day and night)thinking about genesis when GOD began forming the world!! Meeting friendly passengers and crew from different cultures. Not having to clean cook or work. People watching, entertainment, being in the thermal spa while sailing at the same time, and MOST OF ALL, being on a vacation PERIOD!!

Morning all. This coming November I will be cruising to the lovely Bermuda! I know that there are past threads to answer my questions but I cannot find them. If my questions are stupid please forgive me also please excuse my punctuation! How is sailing the Atlantic in November, how do I dress and pack for this type of cruise, will there be a live band and barbecue on deck like in the summer, will I be able to utilize the outside deck for sitting walking viewing the ocean and people watching, how is the weather in Bermuda at that time, will I be able to walk in the sand and dip my feet in the beach water?????? Morning all. In august of this year I will be cruising solo for the first time. The point of this cruise is for self therapy/relaxation. This will be my third cruise. I will be on the dawn to bermuda. I fell in love with bermuda and cruising the first time i went, anyway, I would love to here from past or even future solo cruisers. Im really looking forward to this trip, but have to admit im a little nervous. I am a very shy but friendly person and have issue's with anxiety! My biggest fear for this cruise is dinning alone for 7 days. Thanks ahead of time for your replies

Morning all. Will be on breakaway in june. Was told no more live band poolside singing island music, just radio/dj music. Is this true? Also how is fat cats? Is it jazz or blues? Can you also tell me about the ice bar and which shows are free that dnt need reservations?

Afternoon cruisers. What were your favorite drinks on ncl breakaway? Are the drinks expensive? Also is the zoo and aquarium in bermuda worth going to? I did the crystal cave 4 yrs ago and liked it. Has anyone tried the rum swizzle at swizzle inn? Will I b able to walk after a small glass? Dont drink alot so one sip might mess me up, like wine coolers lol. Can you also tell me about the private tours? Are they worth the $$? Was thinking of a 4 to 5 hr, anyone you would recomnend? If so a way to reach him or her?

Also want to purchase a spa pass for the week online, but the website seems to be not working. Does anyone know if I can do it by phone with my cruise consultant? I heard they only sale a certain amount and that they go quickly.
