  1. So about a year ago hubby and I were on a RCCL cruise, standing next to couple guys in Muster drill who were bragging about how cheap they got their cruise (less than $200pp) and another guy asked how they got such a good deal. The others proceeded to tell them about calls they get with fantastic last minute rates for residents. Fast forward to now...Hubby and I are moving to florida and I am wondering if anyone has details about this service they referred to. He didn't say a a name or if it was directly through RCCL but they all were very knowledgeable about the perks of living in florida and cruise prices. I wish I would've asked. Can anyone help???? Thanks :)

  3. I know this is a long shot but does anyone know who the hotel manager is on the enchantment. He and I met on a cruise in 2013 and I found out he's a huge fan of the college football team that my son has since signed to play for. He teased me that the next time I cruised on the enchantment he was hoping my son would be a commit. I teased him back and told him "never"! Boy am I eating crow lol. Anyway I thought it would be fun to see if he was still on board and if so bring him a gag gift from home since he won lol! I think his name was Mike or Mark.

  4. Arriving on the Oasis and will only be there from 7a-2p. I was planning on grabbing some of the local food and coffee then maybe doing a walking tour of the forts and stuff. Anyone have any suggestion of someplace close that has some awesome food/coffee? Thanks.

  5. I'm sure it's probably been asked a million times but how do we join? My husband is an avid gambler in the casinos but he definitely isn't what anyone would consider a "high roller"! Do you have to spend a ton to get the honor of joining?

  6. They Pay it. Its probably the largest online group of cruise t/a's in the US. Your deposit is due 10 days before your final payment. They all have $25 per room nonrefundable service charge, but if you dont have the $500 to plunk down and find a great price its worth it. Plus they offer some other perks as well.

If you going to book cruises, its the only one to go with.

OOOOOH Whitshel please elaborate!!!! Whats the name of this TA company?

  7. We are back and it was awesome! I plan on posting a review tomorrow...just got out of the hospital tonight...but in the mean time feel free to ask questions.

Day 1: embarkation was a breeze and we got to use priority boarding due to being a gold C&A member. It literally took less than 30 minutes from arriving to getting on the ship. I used birth cert/ID without a problem. Went to the windjammer for lunch until the rooms were open (1:30) but yhe food was just ok so I headed to park cafe and had some cuban paninis that were awesome! We camped out in the solarium and relaxed until we got the ok to head to our staterooms. We had an OV 3530 and it was perfect for just the 2 of us. Joel was our cabin steward and he took very good care of us! The sail away party was LOUD and a little rowdy thanks to the 1,000+ college spring breakers onboard. Lol. It was a bit much at first but they turned out to be ok. We had dinner in the MDR...now this is where it impressed DH. Edwin was our waiter and he was awesome. We had my time dining and had a table for 2. But we requested him every night. Dinner was prime rib (awesome), bay scallops gratin (awesome), and lots of desserts that I cant even remember. It was all delicious! We were so stuffed by the end that we went to our room and passed out lol. So that was basically it for day 1. It was a good day but nothing really remarkable (which is a good thing to me). My phone died during dinner so I didnt get pics of the food or menu on night 1. Sorry. More to come tomorrow!

  8. So I just returned from a wonderful 4 night cruise on the enchantment yesterday. Ive gotten a little spoiled since we ate in the MDR every night. I sampled all types of food but quickly became a fan of the bay scallops gratin. Ive been looking online for the recipe and cant find it. Does RCCL have it in their cookbook? Or does anyone just so happen to have one similar? Thanks in advance :)
