Is it possible to rent snorkling equipment at Half Moon Cay? If so, would it be the same place that we rent clamshells at? I doubt the snorkling is great right there but I have friends interested so said I'd check. I'm layin on the beach in 49 days!!

Ok, I know there are a bunch of you out there who have created a version of my famous Smuggler's Punch using combinations of mixers available on board, along with rum or another potent potable.

My personal recipe is:

(purchase an insulated "water" bottle from the on-board store for about $5)

 

Fill the container with ice to the top

Add 2 parts fruit punch

Add 1 part Lemonade

Add 2 (or more :)) parts rum. I like to mix equal parts dark and light rum.

Give it a good shake and enjoy!

 

I have another version where I substitue sprite for the lemonade which is also very good.

 

So let's hear it -- anybody else have a recipe for a drink using on-board mixers?

In my quest for the perfect water bottle, I must ask, how many ounces does this alleged $5 bottle hold? Assuming it's a good sized bottle, that will affect how many bottles of Cruzan Mango Rum I drink over the course of a week, bought from appropriate sources of course:)

:( We are booked on the Conquest for 5/20. Final payment due to CCL by 3/6 (we booked through a TA). Part of our group is having problems with the final payment for their cabin so it looks as though we are all going to scrap:( :( :( our first cruise. Here's my problem: I can't get my TA to return my calls to cancel and CCL won't help me because I booked with a TA. I don't want to lose our deposit. What do I do if she doesn't call in by the final payment date. Has carnival ever extended the final payment date? Thanks for the info and help.:(

How come you have to all cancel if part of your group can't go? Our group started out with 12 cabins booked, dropped to 7, and we still got an upgrade, plus group points towards obc, bon voyage gifts, etc. Just wondering if someone gave you the wrong info.

As for the 'date' of final payment, we paid ours on Jan. 24 for our April 15th Conquest, and the checks were just cashed about a week ago. We went thru a TA also, so I'm not sure what the hold up was, but that date sure didn't seem as important to her as it did to us!
