  1. We Are booked for May 2023 on the Pride, it will have been 10 years since we have sailed with

Carnival Cruise Line. Do they sell coffee cards for specialty coffees?  Are the baked goods at the cafe complimentary or is there a charge for them?

  2. We are going to stay in Boston before our cruise in Sept 2022. We board the ship on a Wednesday. Wondering what length of stay people recommend to properly see the sights in Boston?  We have never been and It's unlikely we will be back again. We don't want to be flying around trying to see everything in a day .. what are must sees  and how long to cover them. Any advice appreciated.

  3. We have done 3 cruises of the Mediterranean and so far the port that I loved the most was Valetta, Malta. I was on deck at 5:30 am in the morning as were we sailing into the harbour. It was stunningly beautiful with its walls  lit up in the dark. I loved walking around Valetta, there was lots to see. We also took a drive to M’dina which was also well worth a visit.

  4. I definetly would not trust any vaccine coming out of Russia or China,  they are already vaccinating their populations without completing phase 3 trials. And the Canadian government has not negotiated with those 2 countries for their vaccines. Any other vaccine i would trust Because  they will have gone thru rigorous testing , for them I wouldn't hesitate to get vaccinated. As for the flu shot I get it every year in October  without any problems .

  5. Hi Im from Vancouver, we were doing well with the virus but the last 3 weeks our numbers are climbing. I think people are tired and not doing what it takes to keep our numbers low. Right now we have a lot open: schools, restaurants, shops , bars .. hospitals are doing elective surgeries etc. Our Provincial Health Officer just closed our nightclubs and banquet halls because things were out of hand in those venues and alot of time and effort was being put into trying to trace people who were exposed to the virus and had been to those venues.... Right now it seems to be younger people who are getting the virus but im sure it will switch back to the elderly once again. Im not looking forward to going thru the winter , we get so much rain and the days are dark and gloomy ... we are only supposed to have close contact with 6 people otherwise everyone else is supposed to be outside and at a distance. So the winter months will be hard and not as social as in the summer when you can visit with friends ... I sure hope things look different this time next year...

  6. We have cruised with X 3 times in the Med : a 11 night Eastern Med ( Rome to Rome-on the Reflection ) , 11 night Western Med ( Rome to Rome on the Reflection) and a 9 night Venice to Barcelona on Connie. We love the Med ! We spent 5 nights in Rome before the first cruise , 5 nights in Paris before second cruise and on last cruise we spent 4 nights in Venice before and 3 nights after in Barcelona. We really enjoy spending time in cities before and after cruises. My favourite port out of all the ports was Valetta Malta I was on deck at 6 am sailing into the harbour it was stunning more so then Dubrovnik. We are hopefully going to do another cruise with stops in Portugal and Spain.

  7. We were in Rome in June 2014. Took 3 tours with 'The Roman Guy'. The tour groups were less then 10 people. Guides were very knowledgable . We even took. A night tour of the vatican, museum and St. Peter's Basilica. It was fantastic! In the. Sistine chapel our group of. 8 were the only ones in there , we sat down and gazed at the ceiling. The tours are expensive. But Worth every penny.

  8. We were going to book on One of the 2 new Princess ships till we read some posts that there is no center stairwell on the Regal or Royal. People are stating it takes up 20 minutes on average to get into an elevator mid ship. I have mobility issues so it makes it really difficult getting from one floor to the next withour using an elevator and i cannot stand for 20 minutes waiting for one. Why would Princess do that only have stairs at front and back of ship. The people that can do stairs take up space in elevator midship :confused:rather then walk to front or back of ship.We will never sail on those 2 ships because of this issue.
