They are nice cabins if you use the balcony!!
Doing Ca coastal, hoping it won't be too chilly to use it! Wish there was a lounger or 2 though...I know those chairs can go "back" but still not the same.

Thank you for this photo!!!we are in D708 on the 3/11 cruise and very happy to see the balcony is so large as promised . We usually book Caribe deck on theGrand class ships and didn’t want the small balcony the Royal class is known for. These cabins are a hidden gem I think.
We are in D706 on the March 11 sailing! Guess we'll be neighbors!

Linsuesue, we are also booked for this camel ride in April! The info page says a weight restriction....do they actually weigh you ?
Thanks, Marsha

We, too, are booked on the Pride for Sept 5th....we just want to sail...somewhere...anywhere...any ship.....so, if the Pride doesn't sail, we will book one that IS sailing!

We are booked on the Sept 12 and 20th sailings on the Magic! We have had 2 cruises cancelled so far this year so really REALLY hoping we can sail at this time!

The Carnival Destiny in 1997! Our first balcony and 1st time to Western Caribbean! We had the best wait staff and the food was outstanding! We have now cruised on 45 cruises and are platinum on Carnival, soon to be Diamond!

We are sailing on the Reflection in April and were wondering about the menus for The Porch and Lawn Club Grill..are they open for breakfast and/or lunch and is there a charge for that? I know there is a charge for dinner.

I didn't care we didn't get anything, as I stated, but I was disappointed that we didn't get the gift our travel agent paid for and ordered for us! That was my point, Celebrity dropped the ball on an ordered item!

We just returned from a TA cruise on the Infinity..celebrating our 30th anniversary, which was noted on our reservation....received NOTHING! Also, our TA had paid for something to be delivered to our room but we did not receive that either!
Now, this did not bother us really, but felt bad when the TA mentioned she had ordered something and asked if we got it and enjoyed it....
The trip was still the best one yet! LOVE Celebrity!

We are embarking on the Infinity tomorrow for the TA from Rome to Miami...can we put our remaining Euros on our sail and sign account once onboard or does it have to be US dollars?
-
Can someone post the lunch menu please? We decided to not do the dinner one but may be interested in lunch!

Crazy pool games ONLY on sea days? Just great, we have 7 sea days in a row on the TA!! UGH
It has been reported that the CD is the one initiating the pool games and such.....so now what?

We are on the Oct 11 sailing too....between the CD's crazy pool games and hearing this about the deck music, we may avoid the pool deck! 😞

Any updated info for the Transatlantic cruise Oct 11th on the Infinity from Rome to Miami?
Marsha

I really hope this CD is replaced before the TA in October as pool games and the like are not our thing either and we love to lay by the pool....

We received an email this morning for an opportunity to bid for an upgrade on our TA cruise on the Infinity in October. This is the first time we have been given this option but we went ahead and bid . How long before we will hear anything one way or another? What are all of your experiences with this? We are currently happy with our original choice of cabins but an upgrade at a discounted price would be awesome! Thanks for any comments you can give us.

After reading this, I sure hope that CD is replaced for the TA coming up in October....we had booked this particular cruise to go to the Canary Islands and we love Celebrity for their usual "a step up" from other lines we cruise....we love Carnival for their caribbean itineraries but for the TA, we love Celebrity as it is calming and soothing to have all those sea days....love to lay by the pools but if they have these "games" going on, we will have to sit elsewhere....

yes the cabins have the switch
no tickets needed for punchliner
can't help with pool table questions

I, like you, am depressed on the last day but do try and make the best of it and enjoy your day! I am surprised they don't have towel animals on all the lido deck chairs around the pool area on your last sea day!

we were once delayed getting on a ship as the previous sailing had been to Belize...apparently Customs checks people more thoroughly returning from Belize....maybe this is the reason?

with the AI, you can eat off the buffet, AND/OR order from the menu...items on the buffet included nachos and fixins, enchiladas, etc..dont remember much as we just ordered from the menu...the buffet items sat out for awhile and did not look as appealing so we recommend ordering off the menu...

09/02 Legend not so Greenland cruise
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
I was on this cruise. no one has mentioned OUR real issue with this trip, it was NOT the fact we didn't make it to Greenland, (CCL isn't responsible for the weather), it was supposed to be a Journey's cruise and it clearly was NOT! For those who have sailed previously on Journeys cruises, you know there are special events, speakers, food, etc offered that make it "special" and contribute to why we are willing to pay more for them. We had none of this! No speaker, lecturer, naturalist, or whatever you want to call him/her, thus when we did dock in ports, we had no idea what to do there, unless you were on a tour, no maps given , nothing. We literally got off the ship and said "ok, now what?" Yes, we did our homework about the ports before we left, but the history and points of interest, we counted on learning about from the speaker. Even our CD hadn't been to the ports before, (he wasn't aboard the previous Greenland trip in August), and when he was asked about them, just said "oh I've never been and will be learning along with you". There were no special events going on for the 10 days at sea we had...One can only play so much trivia and 6 trivia games in a row every day gets old. No special food items were offered, no midnight buffet like previous Journey cruises had pre covid. This is one of the biggest reasons we felt we were "ripped off". Just our 2 cents. Not looking to be flamed.
