Carnival Liquor Sales

Has Carnival stopped selling liquor in their Bon Voyage Department? I was checking today and the only alcohol I saw for purchase were wines and champagnes. If i'm looking in the wrong spot to purchase can someone please tell me how I would go about ordering for our cabin? Thank you.

I just ordered from the 1/800 number. They had lots of different brands of liquor and mixers.

There is a 4 bottle maximum per cabin limit when ordering liquor.

Order before boarding, this service is not guaranteed to be available once onboard – plan ahead!

The liquor, wine and beer choices do occasionally change, if you do not see something below, call and ask.

Due to TX & AL state liquor laws ships departing from these ports can’t deliver alcoholic beverages to your cabin until they are in international waters. It may even be delayed until the following day.

It's not cheap (about 2-3 times what you'd pay onshore for a bottle), but it's definitely a lot cheaper than buying individual drinks onboard.

Prices listed below are inclusive of gratuities. This is not a complete list of all the wines available through Bon Voyage, it is a just a sampling. Please call for the complete list. Wine & Champagne can also be ordered online through Carnival's Bon Voyage website, for all other alcohol you must call. The prices below will be nearly identical to the prices you see in the Main Dining Room onboard.

Carnival also offers wine packages. Wine packages can save you up to 25% off the prices of buying the individual bottles. Wine packages can either be ordered by calling Bon Voyage or purchased once onboard. Purchasing by calling Bon Voyage will save you the 15% gratuity charged when purchasing onboard. Carnival offers these Coke products fleet wide:

Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, Diet Sprite and Fanta Orange.

Ships sailing out of the ports of Galveston & New Orleans will also offer Dr. Pepper and Diet Dr. Pepper.

All other ports will offer Pibb Xtra instead of the Dr. Pepper products.

If you are going to drink a lot of soda or juice (i.e. need a lot soda or juice for mixers, includes club soda and tonic water), you can purchase the "Bottomless Bubbles" Unlimited Soda Program.

Obviously it is a big money maker for them.

Don't forget there will be TAX added to teh purchase. A bottle listed for $60 is really $64 with tax.

Those prices are CRAZY

The booze keeps the cruiseline floating in revinue:p

that is how much you save when purchasing a bucket... $2 by getting 4 at a time.

Also if sailing out of Texas, they cannot deliver until the next day. Thusly they should not charge you taxes. You have to remind them or they will charge you.
