Mysticks1 - thanks for the coaching - you are awesome !!

Have been following the Solstice online, from keel laying to current sailings. Finally sailed on March 29 - connnecting CC cabins, 1247 and 1249, deck 10, port side, aft of hump. Rather than get into subjective likes and dislikes, we are of the school that any day on a ship is better than a day at work - that said, the cruise was fine - give me a good book, a glass of wine and the privacy of a balcony and I'm good to go. There have been several threads about the layout of connecting cabins, quirks in the bathrooms , etc. A picture is worth 1000 words:

Corridor - really narrow - had to step aside more often than not

Hump balconies with partition open - sort of - it folds back half way and that's it

To be continued - need another post for more pics

Hi South Palm Cruiser!

I have similiar cabins booked on the Eclipse. Thank you sooo much for posting these pictures. I was having a little trouble visualing how the cabins were connecting. Was there anything you didn't like about these staterooms? We are going to be on a 14 day sailing and are looking for the best layout to accommodate our family. I would love to see the rest of your pictures if you have time to post them :) Many thanks!
