Just in time for New Year's Eve:cool: ...

Several CCer's (including myself) have asked about the included wine on Seabourn. The first night I asked the sommelier if there was a printed list. Well, there is a list and here it is:

THE YACHTS OF SEABOURNSM INTIMATE. LUXURY.

Footprint Chardonnay, Western Cape, South Africa

Pinot Grigio, Santa Margerita, Valdige, Italy

St. Supèry, Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley, CA

Macon-Lugny, Louis Latour “Les Genièvres”, Bourgogne, France

Orvieto Classico, Villa Antinori, Italy

Matua Valley Sauvignon Blanc, Malborough, NZ

Aquinas, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, CA

Irony Pinot Noir, Monterey County, CA

Santa Cristina, Villa Antinori, Toscana, Italy

Penfold’ s Rawsons Retreat Merlot, South-East Australia

Quivira Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley, CA

N.B. By the end of the week, many of these were out of stock. The sommelier told me that a shipment scheduled for boarding in Barbados did not materialize. Nevertheless I found the selection (as well as the availability of a printed list) an improvement over 2005.

Thanks for the list. Nice large selection.

While I personally think white zinfandel is just a tad above concord grape wine, my S.O. likes the Beringer white zin so he will be happy. blech, no accounting for taste.

Thank you for that....

Unfortunately as far as Australian wines go the choices on there are pretty much...

Why are the good Aussie wines never found anywhere lese but here???

I agree with you - I personally LOVE the Aussie wines.;)
