Carnival ship port at Princess Cays - excursion question

Hi all,

We are heading on a Carnival ship that stops at Princess Cays - I am quite fair skinned and need to book a Clamshell.

Has anyone been on a Carnival ship lately and if so, do you know how we book the Clamshells?

They are not listed online when I log in to book excursions and someone mentioned we might have to just book on the island.

If that is the case, I am wondering if they will accept our Sail and Sign cards or if we should be bringing cash or Credit card.

I am on a Princess cruise the following week - we booked our "Excursion" clamshell online which made me wonder what I should be doing to purchase while on my Carnival Cruise.

Thanks for any advice (I called Carnival and have received three different answers :) so am looking for someone who has been on the island on a Carnival cruise that might have first hand knowledge)

We were on Half Moon Cay and not Princess Cays, but I would assume the procedure is the same since they are both owned by Carnival.

When we got on the island there was an office that we went to and booked our clamshells. It’s the same place that was renting floaties.

Everything was put on our sail and sign card.

Since you can’t reserve the clamshell in advance we were happy to get an early tender to pick the location we liked.
