What apps am I able to use on the "social" wi-fi plan? Carnival Paradise

I'm going on my first cruise with a couple of female coworkers.

Carnival website says most popular social apps can be used on the cheapest plan "Social". I am specifically wondering if I can use the messaging app ... ICQ

I am asking because most people when I mention ICQ have never heard of it. I've been using it for at least 15 years now.

It is really no different than Facebook messenger. This is the messaging app that my family is most used to (my husband doesn't have Facebook).

If I find out it isn't supported then I'll download a different one on his phone (he is not even close to being tech savvy) and we'll learn how to use that one.

I did search the boards but I couldn't find the answer, nevermind any mention of the app

You can use What'sApp. Carnival doesn't specifically mention ICQ but you might still be able to use it. But get What'sApp before you sail and you're covered if ICQ doesn't work.
