Koh Samui - Samui Island Explorer

All emails are answered promptly and they offer a variety of land tours or can arrange snorkelling tours. Just let them know what you want to see and they can put together an itinerary plus driver. We have a day with car /driver doing site-seeing and beach at a similar price as our ship was charging just to take us to a local beach area and pick us up 4 hours later.

We had a guided tour with Samui Explorer in March 2019.  Michelle of Samui Explorer promptly answered emails and put together a fantastic 5 hour itinerary for the two of us.  It was 3,500 thb.  Our guide was Nong.  He was terrific, very knowledgeable about Koh Samui and Thailand.  His English was excellent. 

We were on a cruise ship which required tendering to the pier to meet Nong.  There were 3 large cruise ships in port that day so it was very chaotic.  Nong met us with no problem and whisked us off on our tour in his new van.  He avoided the crowds of ship bus tours by calling ahead so we we able to see everything without the crowds.  We made it back to the tender pier at just the right time to miss the long lines to return to the ship.
