Pterostyrax Posted July 25, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2005 My wife and I will be taking the October 20-30 Monte Carlo to Athens trip on the Silver Shadow. I would appreciate any suggestions on tour guide companies in Monte Carlo, Genoa, Livorno, Sicily, Valletta, Crete, Rhodes, Kusadasi, and Athens. Additionally, suggestions on what to do in these ports would also be greatly appreciated.

Pterostyrax Posted July 26, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted July 26, 2005 Thanks. As you probably surmised, I am new to these forums and haven't found my way around yet.
uk1 Posted July 26, 2005 #4 Share Posted July 26, 2005 With all of the places you're visiting - it's best if you page all the way through the Europe thread picking up tips and ideas about all the places you're interested in. Then I'd go up a level or two and use "search" on each destination. There's clear instructions. Acouple of experiements will show the way. That will then leave you with specific questions which you feel haven't already been answered. It is better to post each question at the end of another thread on the same destination. This indicates that you've taken the trouble to research before posting and will also attract back people that have been previously interested in the thread. It will also make it much easier for subsequent questioners trying to find answers as a lot of Q's andA's will be together and in effect become frequently asked questions. Good luck and enjoy your research and your cruise. Jeff
