Eurodam Special event cabanas glacier bay???

Has anyone done the pricey special event on the glacier bay day? We asked to book a cabana and they said it was not available for rental but we could pay 199$ per person for a special event held in the cabana area...just wondering if it's worth it and what is includes...

We just came back from the Eurodam today. During Glacier Bay cruising, I didn't see any special event in the cabana area. In fact, I didn't see anyone using the cabanas at all.

I"m also just off the Eurodam and the best viewing of glaciers was from our balcony on the starboard side, mid-ship (5065). However it was great fun to be on the Lido deck or the bow - a very festive atmosphere of all of us sharing an incredible experience. The crew brought around blankets and cups of pea soup. We were fortunate to have bright, sunny weather.
