Best time of year for Med. Cruise

We are looking at doing a Mediterranean cruise next year. What is the best time of year to do this? I don't want to go when it's rainey or cold. Thanks! :D

We did a Mediterranean cruise the first two weeks of May and the weather was lovely - in the 70s and low 80s. Late September and October are also very good. Summertime can be very hot and uncomfortable in that part of Europe.

We did a Med cruise out of Venice in September.........we left Venice on 9/10/05 and toured the Greek Isles..........the weather was awesome. While it did get very warm on some days..high 80's, low 90's........it was not as hot as it gets in the height of summer. It was the perfect time as the crowds have "sort of" thinned out a little. I would not hesitate to go again in the early fall. Enjoy!!

We did R/T Barcelona last week of October 2004~the weather was perfect. Mid 70's very little rain, a one hour downpour in Pisa late in the day & a 30 minute downpour in Rome at about 10:30. Blue skies & sunshine the rest of the trip! Perfect sightseeing weather. We have never had a problem with Europe anytime early September through late October. Our favorite time to do the Med!!!
