Sailing by Napali Coast

Hi

The Napali Coastline is so beautiful. I know on the POA we will be sailing by it but I see there are smaller vessels that would take you along the coast. Is this something we should do and if so are there any small vessels docked near where the POA docks that we could get a tour?

We spend our time there exploring the island on foot, hiking, seeing their "grand canyon." I would not have traded that for a closer sea view that was almost identical to the sail by offered through the ship.

When staying in Kauai we did a Napali Coast tour in a Cat (can't remember off the top of my head which company as it was several years ago, but I could look it up). It was a dinner cruise and the captain took us into a small cave and UNDER a waterfall! My daughter & I sat on the net with just a few other people and we got soaked! Can't do that on a cruise ship and it really was one of the highlights of our trip, Hubby thought we were crazy and he videoed the entire thing.
