Dubai on Shadow

We are going to Dubai next year. We have overnight there. First time in that part of the world. Any 'don't miss' there? I'd like to have a nice dinner. Any recommendations on restaurants? I'm looking for local food of course.

We lived in the U.A.E. for 3 years and I love that part of the world. My suggestion would be to take one of the local boats that offer dinner on the creek, although it may not be goumet food it is a lovely way to spend a night in Duabi and the food is usually arabic.
