NCL Epic- inside cabin choices

Recommended Posts

Hi all. I've asked about this on the NCL forums and browsed/searched both. I haven't received much feedback yet so thought I would try here.

Of course I know that all the cabins are basically the same within each category. But on Carnival, sometimes there are often better cabins that are maybe a little bigger, or sometimes have a window that looks out onto a deck (e.g. the 4J on the Dream). Any that I should look for on the Epic?

I've sailed Carnival a few times, but this will be my first NCL cruise. I will book an inside cabin for now with an eye toward upgrading if the price becomes right. Of course Im not counting on that happening so want to get the best cabin I can now.

So any advice, including any to avoid, would be appreciated.

I think we saw every Category of room on our transatlantic cruise aboard Epic

except the 1x (room 8002 and 8003) but in looking at the deck plans it does appear that these are larger than the posted 128 square feet. Perhaps you get a little extra room as a trade for being so far forward. You will love the Epic! It is now my favorite ship. Enjoy your cruise!
