FutureMarks2018 Posted January 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2018 Hi Everyone! I’m getting married May 24, 2018 in Key West and was wondering what ppl have done for receptions aboard the ship. After looking at pictures of the venues I’m wondering if hors d’oeuvres would be better than doing a full meal due to seating and tables for guests. Do meals seem hard to eat in the lounges? Also looking for ideas about what others have done after the reception ends. I want to keep the party going since it has to end by 7:30pm. Thanks for any tips/advice! -Erika
Cruisewed18 Posted January 5, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2018 Great question! I've been wondering the same thing myself (getting married on the Adventure of the Seas October 2018). Following!
OACEIS Posted March 12, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2018 We got married on the Oasis last year embarkation day. We chose a lot of the stations and it ended up resembling a buffet, quality food though! Since it was embarkation day we had a short window of time before non sailing guests had to leave so it worked out well. Those who were sailing met up with us after muster drill and we kept the party going! It was a little hard to eat in Dazzles since the seating was a little broken up, cant imagine a traditional meal there
